My Summary
About Me
My name is Clare, and I live with my partner Chris, who is also my assistant, and our own child. We have a small dog named Cookie. Both Chris and I hold full, clean driving licenses with full business insurance.
I decided to start childminding because I want to spend more time with my children and feel it's time to transition from elderly care. I am ambitious and dedicated to making my business succeed. Understanding the challenges working parents face, I aim to offer quality care and flexibility to other families.

My Experience
I've been a mom since I was 18, and about 16 years ago, I returned to work as a care assistant. After having my son, I realized that the care industry wasn't the right fit for me, and I started thinking about a career change. Having spent many years as a full-time mom, I decided to look into childcare. After a lot of thought and soul-searching, I found that being a childminder is what I truly want to do. For the past twelve years i have been caring for lots of children from all walks of life with varying levels of needs.

My son is two and has been going to Clare & Chris for roughly a month now. He absolutely loves it, he comes home telling me all about his day and showing me what he's done. Clare and Chris are both lovely and so down to earth, they fully understood how hard it was for me leaving my son for the first time and they always give me a text to reassure me he is fine once I've left. I couldn't be happier with every aspect of the care they provide my son on a daily basis. They complete lots of different exciting activities and as parents we get a little book filling us in on their whole day. Including what they've done, eaten, times the lot.
I would recommend wiggles and giggles to everyone, very very happy mummy :) thanks to Clare & Chris for adapting to both mine & Ryley needs!
