My Summary

My Experience

I studied my level 2 and level 3 in BTEC Childcare learning and Development at Seevic College with both a Distinction* and triple distinction. I have completed 800 hours in different nursery and school placements working with a wide age range of children during that time. I learned how to be prepared of taking roles and responsibilities by gaining experience with day to day care routines and feel confident in my communication skills with children, parents and colleagues.

At my current job I am responsible for meeting the babies cares and needs to stimulate their development. Jobs include feeding them milk bottles, their meals, changing nappies, putting them to sleep and generally keeping them happy with daily activities I plan for them. I plan a variety of activities to promote the babies skills and development every day. e.g. messy play to promote their sensory development, dancing and singing with musical instruments to promote communication and language skills and other activities to promote development for their different ages.

With these skills and knowledge I have gained I feel I am capable of taking care of older children also because as a student I experienced working with older children at multiple school and nursery placements. I have also babysat regularly for family and friends children.

My Availability

I am due to finish work at 3.45 PM Monday to Friday which would make me available from 4.15 PM until late in the evening/

I am available all weekend to babysit too.
