About Me
I DELIVER CHILDREN TO TENDRING SCHOOL MORNINGS AND COLLECT FROM GREAT BENTLEY SCHOOL IN AFTERNOONS.
I have been an ofsted registered childminder since october 2000 I have a lovely non estate private house with a large garden. I adore children and believe very strongly that every child is an individual and deserves the best possible start in life.
My Experience
JULY 2015 OFSTED GRADING OUTSTANDING [IN ALL AREAS] may 2022 Ofsted grading GOOD in all areas. I completed my initial training to be a childminder in 1999 and my husband and I bought our current house with childminding in mind , we wanted to ensure that we were able to offer space and a homely environment.
In my care every child will experience learning through fun, with the emphasis on fun. I deliver school age children to Tendring primary and collect children from Gt Bentley school. I value the opinions of all my parents and work closely with them to ensure continuity for the children. I do encourage politeness and good social skills.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 diploma in homebased childcare earning a grade A in all four modules .I have firstaid certificate(paediatric) and Safeguarding children qualifications . I have many vocational certificates . I offer government funded places ie early years education entitlement this is available to all 3 year olds from the term after their third birthday and also for eligible 2 year olds and 9 month olds .

My Availability
I work from 6.45am until 6.30pm mon to Friday. . School drop off Tendring school. School pickup Gt Bentley . I also offer adhoc childcare ( subject to space )for appointments/social events/shopping trips etc .This is charged at £10.00 per hour per child. Minimum charge £20.00. Please ring for adhoc childcare if short notice as I do not check messages every day.

Before school with delivery to Tendring from 7am £15.00 .8am £8.00
Afterschool care until 5.30pm with collection from great bentley £17.50 this includes snacks and drinks(later home collection time available if required.)

My two children have been going to Kim’s Kinders for almost 4 years. My daughter started when she was 12 months old and has thrived, as has my son. Kim is very flexible and is kind and caring. The staff who work there are amazing. Both of my children are very happy and I couldn’t recommend Kim’s Kinders enough.

My daughter has been with Kimmy and her team since before she was 2 years old, my daughter was not an easy child to take care of and tested the capability and patience of Kimmy and her team, but to their credit, she is now a confident, capable, kind little girl who is more than prepared to start school in a few days time. Her social skills are fantastic and she has a passion to learn, encouraged through her time at Kimmy's. She is always excited to go to Kimmy's house and see who is there to play with and what amazing things they will do that day. The activities they take part in range from crafts to woodland walks and everything in-between. Kimmy and her team communicate very effectively, and always encourage that the adults work together to support the children. I cannot recommend Kim Gilliar and her team highly enough. You are all fantastic and I am eternally grateful for what you have done for my little girl.

Having sent my son Stanley to Kim for several years i didn't think twice about sending my second son Vinnie when i returned to work. He has been going to Kim now for 2 and a half years and is really flourishing under her care. My eldest boy looks forward to school holidays when he gets to see her again and both boys are extremely fond of Kim and her family.

Would definitely recommend Kim to anyone that is looking for a childminder she is brilliant with my little man and has been great helping me deal with changes with Stanley's dietary needs etc.it has been made so much easier going back to work knowing Stanley is well looked after! he looks forward to his days with Kim and enjoys showing me all the new things he has learnt.
