About Me
I registered as a childminder in September 2012 and was inspected in June 2015 and again in December 2018 and was graded a good overall and Outstanding within the Personal development, behavior, and welfare section.
I have lived in Stalybridge for over 20 years with my husband and 2 children, one goes to Longdendale High School and the other goes to West Hill School. We live in a 3 bedroom house on a quiet cul de sac with large lounge, dining room and garden with patio and grass area.
I work closely with Tameside Quality Early Years Team to ensure I am delivering the new EYFS to a high standard and continue to update my knowledge with online courses.
Most mornings I work alongside 2 other childminders in Stalybridge and together we offer the children in our care facilities to mix and play. We go outdoors most mornings, weather dependant otherwise we visit play centers, tots groups and enjoy doing craft activities in each other houses. The children in my care make lovely bonds with friends, sharing and preparing them for school.
My Experience
I have been a parent for 18 years and offer a homely relaxed environment. My aim is to offer high-quality care for each child in my care and work with parents to help their children learn in a safe and stimulating environment.

I believe that spending time outdoors is very important. We will try to go outdoors every day, because I believe that fresh air and wide open spaces are good for them. We plan visits to local parks, and woodlands weekly. I will also work on taking each child forward with their learning and development by building on what your child already knows.
