About Me
My name is Holly Jackson and i have been childminding for 10 years now, i am also fully insured by childcare.co.uk and have have a in date first aid qualification.
I also have a full clean driving license and I like to go out and about with my children.I live with my 16 year old son, Ryan, my 1 year old daughter Rosie. And my partner Phillip. Myself, my partner and Ryan are all dbs checked. I had my ofsted inspection where i got graded "good" and recieved a good report. My report is available online,
I offer a very friendly and caring environment to make the child and parent feel safe and secure and most importantly feel welcome.
I am a home from home setting so I am nothing like a day nursery and don’t have too many children all in one go, so I can give each child the time and attention that they need.
I am consistent in childrens routines because i feel that this is very important so that the child still feels like that are at home in my care.
I have a good understanding of equal oppertunties, and have undertaken a short course in child abuse.
I have my level 3 safe guarding.
I will work closley with the early years foundation state curriculum and will do weekly planning so that the children are still learning while in my care. I will also provide oppurtunties for children to play, relax and watch bits of tv.
I will take the children out on plenty of trips, to places like the park, indoor play areas, farms, feed the ducks. I have wheelgate passes so we like to go there, playgroups, library. When we are at home i will provide a range of activties, including messy play, contructive play, a place where the children can just chill and relax, arts and crafts, ect.
I will provide meals, snacks and drinks in my prices, all of these meals will be part of a well balance diet and all will be homemade.
I pick up and drop off at St Patrick's school and wynndale primary. Oak tree primary school could also be an option i would consider other schools depending on distance and times especially for mid day nursery collection.
I offer the government funding placements for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. And can split the 30 hours between nursery and myself and offer nursery collection.

I have worked with a range of different age ranges from babies and toddlers in a day nursery. A school nursery and year 1 and 2 class rooms.
I will do additional courses to further my training and experience.
10 years experience with children ranging from 4 months old to 14 years of age.
My Qualifications
I have a diploma level 3 in childcare and education. The same qualification to be a teaching assistant. I have had experience in school nursery, day nursery and my 10 years of childminding.
My Availability
I will work monday to friday 7am till 6pm, but can adapt to suit parents needs.
I have two full time spaces availble for any age monday to friday and after school spaces available.
