My Summary

My Experience

I have been working in childcare for 5 years in many different childcare settings. After qualifying in 2010 my first job was as a teaching assistant where I worked with children from reception - Year 6. My position in the school was only temporary and when I finished at the school I then worked at a nursery in Epping for two years, based mainly in the toddler room but I was able to gain experience with the babies and preschoolers covering staff lunches/sick and annual leave. I then moved to a different nursery in Harlow when I was working in the baby room for a year, again covering with the older children when needed. In September 2013, I had a career change and started working for a small company in London as a PA and also nannying my bosses 5 year old little girl. Whilst nannying I would take charge of school pick ups/drop offs when needed as well as looking after the little girl during the holidays. I would arrange activities to keep her entertained such as baking, swimming, cinema, bowling, visiting farms/zoos, creating Easter egg hunts and other surprises! I would also prepare healthy meals for her throughout the day.

My Qualifications

I hold an NVQ level 3 childcare qualification and have also nearly completed an NVQ level 3 qualification in Business and Administration

My Availability

I am able to be flexible with this, ideally part time but would also consider a full time position where I am able to bring my little boy with me

My Fees

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (net)
