About Me
My name is Caroline Cope, I am an Ofsted Registered qualified Childminder; with over 20 years experience. I have two daughters and am married. Myself and peter have 3 friendly little dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. I work along side my assistant Jill Richmond, in our home from home setting. The children spend time at my allotment caring for the chickens and ducks, growing their own vegetables and playing in our outdoor art and play area. My setting is set up with loose parts and natural materials. We enjoy spending our days exploring the woods, beach and local parks and making our own picnics to take with us.
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience in childcare both as a child minder and in a local day nursery. I have experience of working with children aged between 6 weeks to14 years.
I gained extensive experience with children within the tweenie room (12months-24 months) where I worked as a nursery nurse, the babyroom (6 weeks-12 months) as the baby room supervisor and in the afterschool (3 years-14 years) where I was the manager.
After graduating university with a BA in Children and Early Childhood I decided I wanted to become a childminder where I can offer parents and children a more personalised service.
My Qualifications
NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing - Stockton and Billingham Technical College.
BA in Children and Early Childhood - Teesside University.
EYP - Teesside University.
Birth to Three Matters - Childcare Home Practitioners - Redcar and Cleveland LEA Adult Learning.
Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid
HABC Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering
Safeguarding Children and Internet Safety

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
