About Me
I am authorised to deliver the Partner Provided 1140 hours for 2 year old and 3 year olds.
My last inspection I was graded straight 6s highest grade.
My son is 33years old , he works for the NHS and is a local Councillor for North Lanarkshire Council and now the Lord Provost .....My youngest is little Cameron, he is 20 years old and at Stirlng University studying Phycology and works part time as a Carer for a local company.
I was the Secretary to the Motherwell District childminding Group until it folded 2 years back.
I am authorised to deliver the 1140 hours.
I adore my job!!! hence the reason I am still in this profession for over 30 plus years .... Children are my life and I adore their honestly.
I adore being surrounded with children....I can't think of doing any other job ....it's the best job on the planet !!!!

My Experience
Being a mother for many years and a Grandma to five adorable Grandchildren gives me a wealth of experience. In the past I have been a Sunday School teacher and a Brownie Leader in my local church. I have also run two local toddler groups.

I have recently been Inspected by the Care Inspectorate and gained straight 6s * excellent * ..highest score in an Inspection

We contacted Lorraine for some emergency childminding, and she was very accommodating. She welcomed our 5-months old son to her lovely home-based fairyland, with gnomes and a garden playground. The setting was amazing, but her pedagogical approach is outshining the most! Every day in the car, when I was picking him up, he was mumbling songs in excitement and happiness. Additionally, we had regular feedback daily and some really lovely photos, some of which we even framed. Lorraine, a huge thank you for everything!!!

Lorraine was great, from first point of contact and replying quickly, she put us instantly at ease as we have never used anyone outside the family before.
Great at keeping us informed and fun filled day’s for our son with lots of activities.

Lorraine contacted me after a desperate plea for help. I’m so glad I chose to send my daughter to her. She has had a wonderful time when she has been there and Lorraine has been a great person for us both. She lives for kids and always keeps me up to date with what they are up to. She has been really helpful and flexible to accommodate our needs to cover my work. Thank you Lorraine. It means the world.

We love Lorraine, my son settled in very well with Lorraine and her other cubs, as a parent she kept me up to date on his development anything that she felt I needed to know about my son or her services. My son adores Lorraine, and I consider her a fantastic childminder, I would highly recommend Lorraine and her service.

I have used Lorriane twice now in June for 1 months as I was working from home, Lorraine was so accommodating with the needs I required and I have started to use her again this year as I have had issues with the private nursery my son has been at. Lorraine is a fabulous childminder as is always putting the kiddies needs first. She is always updating us with what our child is up to through out the whole day. Lorraine is the most genuine and down to earth lady you will ever meet. I will forever grateful for her and the best services she provides.
