My Requirements

We are looking for a happy, energetic and experienced mothers help/nanny/housekeeper, on a part time basis up to 30 hrs per week.

We have a beautiful 9 year old girl and a 5 year old little boy therefore this role is for someone who has experience with managing young children.

Duties would include helping mange the children, inspiring them and contributing to their development. In addition we are looking for someone who is happy to ‘muck in’ and generally help around the house – ie organising family life (errands, online shopping, etc), cooking for the family, doing laundry and tidying up after playing and in general.

Formal childcare qualifications are not essential, but an advantage. Requirements are:

• Competent in cooking
• General household duties
• References and CRB check.
• Excellent English
• Security conscious

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, efficient, able to juggle tasks and prioritise, show plenty of initiative and most importantly possess a sound knowledge of health and safety for children, along with a solid duty of care.

There is some flexibility with scheduling the hours across the week and weekend although we will definitely need at least 2 afternoons with some potential ad hoc evening babysitting as a potential extra if it works for both.

Ability to travel with the family if required would also be an advantage but is not a requirement.

The salary will be negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
