About Me
Hello, my name is Sam Metcalf, Tydylcove Childminding and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder based in Driffield, East Yorkshire. I have 3 children of my own Tyler (17), Dylan (16) and Ellie (11).
I introduce fun activities which co-ordinate with the Early Years Foundation Stage allowing them to start school with confidence. For older children I try to encourage them with their homework and listen to them reading, before allowing time for free play or other activities.
I will provide a safe, comfortable and happy environment where your child will be given first class quality of care in surroundings designed to bring out the best in their social and educational development. The emphasis being on learning, playing, reading, listening, interaction with others and general development of all the skills necessary to prepare your child for school. I understand the need to encourage children’s development through play.
I am a forest childcare provide and we spend a lot of time outdoors in all weathers exploring the environment.
