Hello, my name is Laura.
I’m a fully qualified Nanny with 22 years of experience caring for children of all ages from newborn to teenagers. I live in Milton Keynes with my partner of nearly 13 years & our little boy who is nearly 7 years old.
I would like to think that anyone who knows me & any of my previous families that I have worked for would describie me as reliable, organised, confidant, flexaible, creative, funny, focused, good natured, caring, kind, considerate & approachable.
My Experience
I have been a nanny for 22 years in June 2022 & have experience caring for children of all ages from newborn to teenagers.
Within all my jobs I have been a sole charge daily Nanny.
A normal day for me would start with helping the children with getting ready for the day ahead, preparing a healthy & balanced breakfast, dropping off at nursery or school, planning & going to any groups with the younger children in my care, meeting up with other nannies with children of similar ages, going for walks to the park or to feed the ducks, playing at home, baking or getting creative with paints, playdoh, etc. Preparing a nutritional lunch, after lunch nap time routine, carrying out any nanny duties (cooking, washing, ironing), pick up from school, helping with any homework, preparing a homemade, healthy & well balanced cooked dinner & occasionally if needed bath & bedtime.
I have experience with looking after children with food allergies, asthma, ADHD & ASD. I also have experience with fussy eaters, implementing nap routines, weaning & potty training.
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies.
I am paediatric first aid trained, DBS checked & ofsted registered.

My Availability
I'm looking for a lovely family with after school hours but with full time hours during the main school holidays (not the half terms). Ideally I would like to be able to bring my little boy Arthur with me after school & during the school holidays. He’s a very well behaved little boy who is kind, friendly & loves to be around children of all ages.
