About Me
Hi, my names Katherine Brindley. I'm in my 40’s and have been a Ofsted registered child minder in Hornchurch since October 2012. I have two grown children and live with my husband Kevin, our cat Toby and our dog Bonnie. I have been a mum for over 20 years and am the oldest of 5 children myself.
I pick up and drop off to NELMES PRIMARY SCHOOL AND WINGLETYE PRE SCHOOL ONLY and work Mon-Frid 7.30-6.00 pm. I take children from birth upwards.
I am a qualified Paediatric First Aider and both me, my husband and children hold full crb disclosure's.
I was inspected by Ofsted Dec 2022 and got good overall which is only one away from outstanding which I will strive to achieve.
I am able to offer funded places for 9 month’s, 3 and 4 years old's and 2 year olds who's parents are on low income and in receipt of certain benefits.
My Experience
My experience is the best out there being a mum for many years. I am also the oldest of 5 and so have helped with all my siblings. I have been a childminder since 2012.

I thought going back to work with 10 month old twins would be stressful but Katherine made it so easy!
Both my girls really enjoy their days with Katherine and her family and always come home happy.
There is an amazing family atmosphere with not just Katherine's family but the other children. I really enjoy reading their learning journals and looking through the observations at the new things they are experiencing.
