About Me
I am a fun and caring nanny with over 30 years of full-time sole charge experience, caring for newborns onwards, including two sets of twins. who loves looking after children. I am honest, responsible, trustworthy, and reliable - an individual who will offer commitment and loyalty to a family.
I am an excellent time keeper, and all my references from 1991- 2023 (I have them all) say I'm never late and have never called in sick.
I have had terrific relationships with all the families and children I have worked for and keep the parents updated on all activities we do and go to throughout the day and any milestones their child achieves whilst in my care, verbally and with photos and messages,
My Experience
I have worked as a nanny for over 30 years and have excellent checkable references for this whole period.
March 2022. I was caring for two 13 months old, one boy and one girl born 5 days apart (nannyshare). April 2023 the little girl and her family moved out of London
My job which I started back in September 2016 ended in July 2021 as my employer had her second child and will be taking a year off for maternity leave After working for them 5 fabulous years I decided to take a few months off work.
I take my charges to all under 5's groups including sure starts, sensory play, stay and play, soft play, music/singing, Gymbroree and lots more, I also take my charges for swimming lessons and trips out to the local parks, farms and local libraries. I arrange play dates with other children, either them coming to our house to play or us going to their house to play.
I also ensured that there is plenty of entertainment at home including painting, sticking, play doh, stories, puzzles,sand/water play, free play and lots more.
I also take my charges to nursery/school, doctors appointments, and have attended school assemblies Christmas shows Easter shows and school outings if their parents are unable to, I cook nutritious meals and ensure the children eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Maintaining cleanliness of equipment, toys and their rooms

My Qualifications
I hold my Cache Level 3 NVQ in Early Years Education.
I completed my NNEB course
I have a current DBS and I am also on their update service
Ofsted registered
I am trippled vaccinated (covid)
Level 2 certificate in first aid
Level 2 certificate in food hygiene and safety
My Availability
Happy to commute upto one hour from my abode. ( Canary wharf)

Alison has been our nanny for 18 months and we are very sad to see her go, we would keep her if we could ! She has been the most incredible influence on our little boy where she looked after him with another baby, from the ages of 1 to 2.5yrs. She is incredibly easy to have around the house, punctual and takes the job seriously. More importantly she is amazing with children, getting to their level and providing so much love and care. You would be crazy not to meet Alison - she is a real gem and we are so sad to see her go.

Alison has worked as a nanny for us for the last six months looking after our now 1 year old twins. She is a brilliant nanny - conscientious, hardworking, kind, enthusiastic and extremely organized. She is great with children (she knows so many games and songs and can always make our two giggle) and, with more than 20 years of childcare experience, can offer lots of useful tips to new parents. The twins absolutely love her and, if we could take her down to Exeter with us when we move in June, we would simply jump at the chance.
