About Me
Childminder in Old Basing since 2003. Ofsted GOOD Childminder (inspection 4 March 2019), Early Years Education Provider for children aged 2, 3 and 4 years old and can offer free 30 hours. I collect Children from the Old Basing Infants School, St Mary's C of E Junior School and the local Pre-schools. Children love my large garden with swings, climbing frames, sit on's, coupe cars, mud garden, sandpit, bats, balls etc. Messy play such as painting, gluing and drawing. Digging in mud garden. We use the local area and explore different parks from Crabtree, Mill Fields, River Loddon to feeding the ducks, see the trains, walk to Eastrop Park, Basing Common Lots of messy play, craft activities and cooking with the children.
My Experience
I have always enjoyed training and go on courses of interest.
I have completed CACHE level 3 in Childminding - Extending Childminding Practice. Have a Paediatric First Aid certificate and Paediatric Anaphylaxis training both valid until November 2025.
Advanced Child Protection. Completed CAF training. Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. I am registered with the Basingtoke and Deane Borough Environmental Health as I run a business from my own premises.
NCMA Quality First quality assurance sheme at level 3. Managing the Implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Supporting Disabled Children workshop. Mark making. Level 2 Award in Healthier Food and Special Diets. Supporting children with English as an additonal language.
My Qualifications

Advanced Child protection. I am always updating my training to include anything I feel would enhance my setting and as part of my Early Years Education provider qualification by webinars. - Childminding from £5.50 per hour
£5.50, Minimum £55.00 a day
£20.00 per day for School Children before and after School until 5.00.

My daughter started with heather when she was 9months old. She has just left for school and I can honestly say she has had the best time with Heather and her family. She supports you with parenting and aids you when you need support and in instills the children with good manners and values.
We all enjoyed my children’s time with heather and her tent.

Was a pleasure to look after such a lovely family. Great times were had on our many adventures in the local area and the fun we had making crafts to take home. Was a joy to teach ready to start school.
