I Combine my time spent with the children between the indoors and outdoors allowing them to explore through play based activities by creating an early learning environment this allows children to develop their critical thinking, expand their creativity and express themselves.
I believe early learning is driven by child led play with quality adult interaction to scaffold their learning. I encourage elements of risk as this benefits the child's creativity imagination and ignites their curiosity to grow into independent thinkers.
I live in Perham Down a small village nestled on the edge of Salisbury plain in a mid-terraced house with my family I have a well-maintained garden and the house is equipped with all the necessary safety adaptations for babies, toddlers and children.
I aim to work in partnership with parents to provide all children in my care with a clean, safe, loving, home-like environment where everyone feels valued.
Children also have weekly opportunities to socially interact within larger groups of children as we attend forest school, visit local play groups, and meet regularly with other childcare settings. We also have regular trips to the library, play parks the farm and museums.
My Experience
I have been a Childminder for 15 years, the children I have cared for have taught me that every child is an individual and thrive of the opportunity to learn through play and have enriched me with ideas through their imagination.
My Qualifications
As an Ofsted Registered Childminder I am DBS checked, Paediatric first aid trained and hold level 3 in Safeguarding as well as 15 years experience in childcare.
Through Wiltshire Council I attend many workshops and courses to continue my professional development and keep up-to-date with the latest childcare methods and further my qualifications and experience.
My Availability
My working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm all year round.
However I can be flexible for parents that may require childcare outside of my working hours and will be discussed on an individual basis.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My hourly rate includes snacks and play groups, I also offer the 15/30 hours funding for eligible 9 month 2 years and 3 & 4 year olds and I also accept the Government tax free childcare vouchers.
