My Experience

I currently do after school help with a family in Oxted on a tuesday and friday. make sure the kids do their homework, cook dinner and some light household duties, i am looking for something to fit around this.

my previous position was working for a family in woldingham. My responsibilities included creating a fun and safe environment for the children as well as taking them out to activities. I did reading and homework and I also cooked meals for the children and bathed them in the evening. I worked with them for 6 years until the pandemic.

before then I was working with two girls in oxted doing school runs, homework and household duties for 3 years until they no longer needed me. And before that I looked after 2 boys in Oxted full time for 3 years.

my first nanny position I worked for a local family. I had sole charge of their 2 year old son and did school runs I then looked after their daughter after school. Each day I arranged a different activity in the morning, then after lunch we either had free play or we did cooking or arts and crafts.

i have worked at the larks nursery school as bank staff. I find this incredibly rewarding and enjoy experiencing working with younger ages and seeing how each age group develop and grow. During my work at the Larks I have used the EYFS to track their development and ensure that each individual child is reaching their targets. I also set up activities to assist them in their cognitive and intellectual development. I found these experiences very interesting and helpful and aided me in the knowledge and understanding of child development.

i have a Ba honours degree in child and adolescent studies and throughout school and university i did lots of placements within local schools.
Whilst working at Hazelwood, St Mary’s, Holland and Downsway School’s, I worked with ages three to ten. I learnt many of the basic teaching procedures and also got the opportunity to take classes myself for French lessons and Art lessons. I also was asked to produce an activity that was both fun and educational for the children. I chose tray gardens to help them learn about the environment, this was a huge success.

My Qualifications

I have a ba honours degree in child and adolescent studies. C's in maths English and science and C's in A-level.

My Availability

i am looking for a live out nanny position.

Looking for part time. Can start immediately. looking for ad hoc or 1 or 2 days morning and/or afternoons.

My Fees

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

£15 per hour
