Hi, My name is Carolyn. I am married and have 2 grown up children. I live very near to Colmore school so I am able to look after children before and after school who attend there, aswell as looking after 3 children under the age of 3 during the day.
I focuss on providing a home from home comforting environment where I recognise the needs of each child as an individual, keeping them safe happy and encouraging them to learn and develop to the best of their ability.
I plan my day with the children engaging them in lots of fun activities such as arts and crafts,messy play,singing and dancing e.t.c both inside and outside in the garden. We enjoy daily outings to all our great local parks,our local library and children’s group. I have a 7 seater car to help us get out and about.
I follow the EarlyFoundation Scheme and track progress,ensuring a varied day of activity, to help each child achieve in all areas of learning.
I am happy to answer any questions that you may have and I can provide up to date written and telephone references from all of the families that I currently work with.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder since 2002
I currently look after children over 4, before and after school and look after 3 younger children during the day.
I think that I have a good balance of experience,fresh ideas,and the energy to provide a fun fillled day.

My Qualifications
I have been registered since 2002 and I'm up to date with all manditory training (first aid, safe guarding, early support etc.)
My family all have enhanced C.R.B checks.
