About Me
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since 2004. I have two lovely children of my own aged 18 and 20 and have provided childcare for the last 19 years in the 0-10 years age range. I am able to provide references if required. My main objectives as a childminder are to help children achieve well and enjoy what they do, be healthy, happy and enjoy their learning experience.
The Ofsted EYFS development framework is actively followed whilst allowing both children and parents the advantage of a friendly, homely environment in which to learn and grow.
I work closely with parents to try and maintain, as much as possible, the childrens routines throughout the day.
My bungalow is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and I have a child friendly garden which the children utilise on a daily basis. We paint, glue, bake, sing, read books and I love to take the children out and about and we regularly visit the beach, forest, play parks, toddler groups, the Library and Moors Valley.
I find working with children great fun and very very rewarding and I thoroughly enjoy what I do. Should you need childcare for a child with special needs, then I am more than willing to undertake additional training if required.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£5.00 per hour: 8am - 6pm
£7.00 per hour: after 6pm
Overnight and weekend care rates are negotiable depending on your requirements.
Meals charged in addition (if required) but again are negotiable depending on your requirements

My daughter has been with Denise since she was 10months. She is now heading off to school and will really miss Denise and her friends.
We always find Denise to be fun, easy going and excellent at helping us juggle days when unexpected situations arise. My daughter has been fully nurtured at the setting and has always been happy at drop of and pick up.
I can't sing Denise's praises enough and we will miss her dearly!

Denise has been looking after my 13 month old for the last couple of weeks full time and I cannot speak higher praise of her. My husband and I were initially looking for someone to look after our LO for a couple of weeks before we put her in a nursery but we saw such a big change in jess that we asked Denise to look after her full time. My daughter blossomed, started trying to "talk " more to us, eats her food properly and never cries when Denise comes to collect her each morning. Moreover Denise goes above and beyond to provide great care , following my daughters home routine and engaging with jess. I can honestly say I trust her with my daughter as much as I do my own parents! Many thanks again Denise!
