I am married with two children, a daughter aged 26 and a son aged 24. I am a very reliable, trustworthy and friendly person. I am ofsted registered and passed my check with flying colours on 16th October 2017 (we don't get graded as Nanny's). I have my own liability insurance and I have a car which is insured for my work as a self employed Nanny. I absolutely love working with children. I enjoy doing all kinds of activities with children and I'm happy to take them to any classes / clubs in the local area.
My Experience
When my children were both young I helped out at their nurseries and really enjoyed it so much so that I decided to start working at one of them once my children had both started school. I started working at a pre-school setting in Sept 2007 and later moved onto another setting where I could work more hours. In April 2012 I decided I wanted to work more one to one with children and looked into becoming a Nanny. I worked for a company to start with and then I decided to set myself up as a self employed Nanny and got myself ofsted registered and insured and haven't looked back since! I love the one to one interaction I get in my job, its so rewarding!

My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
£15.00 an hour. I am registered to accept childcare vouchers but not government funding. I'm Ofsted Registered which means tax credits can be claimed to help pay towards my childcare payments. I am also set up for tax free childcare.

Kathy has been looking after our daughter since she was about 6 weeks old, one day a week. Our daughter loves her time with Kathy and now she has started nursery we have retained the day with Kathy because she is so good with her. They go out and have lots of fun, and mum and dad get a rest once a week! Definitely meet with Kathy if you can, you won’t want anyone else.

Kathy has been looking after our little ones for several months. She takes them to a group in a morning, which the boys really enjoy with lots of things to do. She is kind, considerate and the boys love their time with Kathy.

Kathy has been working with us for the last five and half years, caring for our 3 boys (now aged 3, 5 and 8), two days a week. She's been an integral part of our family since she joined us when our second child was 6 months old. She's friendly, punctual and brilliant with the kids. She was fantastic when the children were babies, a huge support to me as a mother, and as the boys have grown she's flexed around us. She always puts in the effort to find different activities each day, to make sure the children have a great time. We're going to miss her a lot.
Kathy is leaving us only because the children are older and in full time education/nursery - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kathy to the parents of any young family.
