Welcome to Playhouse Montessori!
Located in the heart of Norbury, Playhouse Montessori is a proud family-run business that has been serving our local community for over 19 years, with dedication and care. Nestled between the vibrant neighbourhoods of Streatham and Croydon, Norbury is a diverse and welcoming area known for its strong sense of community, independent businesses, and excellent local amenities, including Norbury train station.
The nursery opening hours are 7:45am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks per year.
Playhouse Montessori has three separate outdoor play areas for the babies, toddlers and pre-school.
Our aim is that through Montessori Ethos, we encourage individual children to learn independence and confidence to explore their environment at their freedom under guidance of our highly experienced and qualified staff.
We offer 15/30 hours free for 9 months-4 years for working parents and disadvantaged children!

15 hours free for 9 months 2/3/4 year olds (working parents):
3 days 8:00am to 1:00pm plus additional charges £36.00 per week for meals & resources
3 days 1:00pm to 6:00pm plus additional charges £18.00 per week for meals & resources
15 hours free for 2 year olds (disadvantaged):
3 days 8:00am to 1:00pm plus additional charges £18 per week for meals & resources
3 days 1:00pm to 6:00pm plus additional charges £9 per week for meals & resources
30 hours free for 3 year olds (working parents)
Mon-Fri 9:00am to 3:00pm plus additional charges £47.50 per week for meals & resources
or
3 days 8:00am to 6:00pm plus additional charges £45.00 per week for meals & resources
*Extra hours £15.00 per hour.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I can’t recommend Playhouse enough! Although my daughter only attended just under a year due to the pandemic, she loved going to nursery! She spoke of her teachers with such joy and still talks about them even though she starts big girls school this month. The support from these ladies was simply the best and always supported both me and my daughter. I could be here for a long time writing this review, short version is - best decision I made was sending my daughter here and knew as soon as I visited for the first time. Thank you again!
