About Me
I come from a family of hard working self employed parents who taught me the value of good manners, respect and understanding. I have two daughters aged 8 and 15, a son aged 25 and a grand daughter aged 3. My partner and I are both high energy and love a renovation project or 3! Love nature and outdoor activities.
My Experience
I have been working as a childminder for 24 years and as a community childminder for 20 years. I have provided care for all ages and stages of the developmental process right up to the teenage years. I am a partner provider and registered to provide ELC for 2-3 year olds. I also have had experience with twins and triplets, and currently working with children with additional support needs.
My Qualifications
I have completed the following training
Child protection level 1
Child protection level 2

Child and infant emergency first aid
Adult emergency first aid
Early literacy development
Art matters
I can early talk training- supportive level
Connecting with our children: how relationships shape the brain
Food handling and infection control
Working with children with additional support needs (short course)
SCQF Level 7 Social Services children and young people.
SCQF Level 9 Social Services children and young people.
I am also currently studying though the open university with a view to complete A degree in psychology and counselling .
I continue to train every year to keep up with the ever changing national curriculum.
My Availability
I can provide wrap around care, before school and after school care, Bank holidays and unsociable hours are also available.
Drop offs at after school clubs and pick ups can be arranged.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
The fee is £5.00
per hour per child
Blocks can be arranged.
Meals can also be provided for a small extra charge.
Payments can be made weekly or monthly
Childcare vouchers are also excepted.
Bank holidays are charged at the normal hourly rate.
A retainer fee ( holidays or absences) will be charged but will be arranged by myself and the parent.
