About Me
I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher who has taught across both Key Stages 1&2 with up-to-date knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
Subjects offered include English (Reading, Writing, Spelling, Grammar, Punctuation & Handwriting), Maths and Eleven Plus including verbal and non-verbal reasoning. I only offer face to face tuition and can travel to homes locally.

My Experience
I have over 10 years’ teaching experience in the classroom and of private 1:1 tutoring. I have taught across Years 1-6 in local authority primary schools in the West Midlands.
For the first lesson, I conduct my own assessments and based on the results of these, I am able to create a personalised programme that is focused on the learning needs of each of my pupils which is shared with parents.
I use varied teaching strategies for a wide range of learners with a friendly and nurturing approach. One of my key achievements is to rapidly boost my pupils' confidence through coaching and instilling a growth mindset. I can offer valuable preparation for Year 2 and Year 6 SATs. I have experience of preparing children intending to go to a grammar school for their Eleven Plus entrance examinations.
