About Me
Hello! I'm Frankie, I am an Ofsted registered childminder and member of PACEY. I have an up to date Paediatric First Aid certificate, Safeguarding Children and an enhanced DBS check. I also keep myself updated with changes to regulations by attending Webinars and various other courses which I feel will be beneficial.
I live with my three children, Harrison, Connie and Miller and we share our home with two cats and a few Guinea pigs.....
My main objective as a Childminder is to make sure that the children I care for are Safe, Happy and secure, I want them to feel like my home is an extension of their home and I want them to be able to look back when they're older and have made some really lovely memories of the time they spent with me!
I am a very active and sociable childminder, I attend our local Childminding group Royston Rascals every Monday and I have annual passes for Standalone Farm, The National Trust, English Heritage, Duxford War Museum and Shepreth Wildlife Park! We also go to different Soft play centres and local parks!
Of course there are times when the circumstances dictate the activities we do ie rotten weather, late drop offs early pick up's etc, however this is not a problem as I have a large number of toys, puzzles and arts and craft equipment to keep the children entertained! We also enjoy baking tasty treats from time to time too!
I have a fully enclosed back garden with a selection of toys and outdoor games and a lovely Wendy House that the children seem to spend most of their time in!
Obviously children also need some down time and it is during these times that we have stories or pop on a film. My main priority is to ensure that every child is happy and their individual needs are being met.
I currently do school and nursery runs to Roman Way Academy but do contact me about other Royston nurseries or schools as the times do vary and I may be able to help!

Frankie has been amazing! Our daughter really enjoys spending time with Frankie who goes out of her way to provide a fun, safe and engaging environment. We are kept up to date with all of our daughters activities via WhatsApp and its lovely to see her having so much fun.
We're so lucky to have had such a kind, caring & thoughtful childminder.

We are very pleased we chose Frankie to be our son's childminder. She has been like a home from home for him, providing a safe, friendly, consistent and warm environment which has been the perfect setting for him to learn social skills, grow in confidence and to feel happy and secure.
Frankie is full of energy, she's so bubbly, friendly and our son warmed to her straight away. On the whole, drop offs were easy and we know that's because he enjoyed being in her care which is so reassuring as parents.
Frankie did lots of activities with our son, taking him to baby groups, parks and days out when she could and he developed a lovely bond with the other children in her care.
We highly recommend Frankie as a childminder

How do I put into words the best childminder a child could have!? She is more than a childminder, Frankie has cared for my daughter since she was 6months old until she turned 3.5yrs. Frankie provides a loving, safe, fun environment. She is always smiling and warm, professional and very friendly. She really is a truly lovely person and my daughter felt completely comfortable in her care. More than comfortable she felt at home, loved.
Every time I left my child in Frankie’s care I felt completing at ease, as Frankie made my child feel safe and welcome. I’m so glad my child had an amazing experience, and is now ready for her new adventure at nursery. Saying goodbye was a very sad day.

Frankie has cared for my son for the last 2.5 years (age 1-3.5) and next year I will hand my (currently 4 month old) daughter to her, confident in the knowledge that she is going to a safe, fun, stimulating and, above all, loving environment. I cannot speak highly enough about this woman: We are lucky to have her in our lives!
From the moment we met Frankie - always beaming - we knew she was the kind of childcarer we wanted for our children. When she opens her door to you, she radiates warmth - a baby on one hip, while other children flock around her, clucking about the activities they’ve done: From regular visits to Shepreth Wildlife park to soft play or a picnic in the park.
Frankie’s own children - confident, polite and fun - evidence what a great parent she is and interact wonderfully with the children in her care. The range of ages she caters has also meant that my son has learned to share and care beautifully and already knew how to behave around a baby when his sister arrived. It’s a lovely thing to see!
Frankie offers the perfect balance of learning and love. Coupled with great healthy meals and a flexible approach to drop-offs and pick-ups, she makes our busy working lives function smoothly!

Being able to trust your child in the care of someone else is a hard thing to do, but Frankie had been so accommodating and welcoming to both of my children. She is caring and professional and has been really adaptable with times and dates which makes her a lifesaver!
I'm so happy my children are able to go to her and I highly recommend her to anyone within Royston.
