Exceptional nanny

Daria came to us when our son was a few months old, and stayed until he was entering reception. We can highly recommend her as a nanny. She is very calm, intelligent and thoughtful, and acts on her own initiative. She has a very special, close relationship with our son, who absolutely adores her. She really cares about child psychology and child development, and would spend hours engaged in creative and interesting activities with our son, painting, drawing, building, gardening and going out into the parks. She is extremely patient, never resorted to screen time and has a Steiner training background which came through in the creative activities that they worked on together. Our son’s level of concentration is now exceptional and we believe this to be very much linked to her care. She is very fair minded and engages with children on their own level.

Wonderful nanny, highly recommended

Daria has been with us as a part-time nanny (as part of a nanny share arrangement with another family), since our older daughter was 9 months old (she is now 4.5 years old), and she has also looked after our younger daughter (now 2.5).

We really can't recommend her highly enough - she is so warm, caring, thoughtful and compassionate, and our children adore her. She has a lovely, calm and empathic presence, naturally attunes and attends to the children's needs, and helps them to explore and understand the world around them. I'm always struck by how beautifully she grounds and reassures them when they're feeling upset or overwhelmed, by her sensitivity to the children's experiences, and her capacity to be both firm and kind at the same time.

Daria is very flexible and we have really appreciated the way she has adapted to the changing needs of our family and the nanny share, and to looking after children at different ages and stages. She cooks delicious, healthy food and the children love spending time with her, pottering around at home or in the garden, doing crafts, or going to the park, library or other local activities, and it really feels like she is part of the family.

She will be greatly missed and I would be very happy to provide verbal or written references.

Amazing nanny!

Daria was nanny to our son from 8 months to almost 3 years, and more recently also helping with my newborn daughter.
I can't overstate the positive influence she has had on our family and on the development of my son. Daria is kind, patient, creative and very caring. Alf loved going to the allotment with her and the local parks for great imaginative play, as well as painting, creating and cooking at home.
I worked away sometimes and Daria was always flexible and supportive to the family. She will be very much missed, if I was going back to work we certainly wouldn't hesitate in keeping her!

Super nanny!

Daria looked after our baby for 2 months when he was 3-5 months old for 2 days a week. Our son suffered from severe reflux so it was a difficult time for both him and us as parents. Daria was a calm and gentle presence in the house at that time and had a natural, warm affinity with our baby. She focused on making sure he was comfortable and happy at all times. She was also very proficient at administering his medication. I couldn't recommend Daria highly enough. She genuinely loves babies and is also very supportive to both mom and dad. We hope she stays in touch! We will miss you!

Highly recommend Daria

Daria has been a fabulous nanny and mothers help. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Both our children (2.5 years and 4.5 months) adore her. We trust her implicitly and are very sad to see her go.
