Hello,
I am Lisa and I live with my husband and our 2 children. My son is 10 years old and my daughter is 3.
I have worked in Early Years for over 15 years in Private settings and I have been on my own Childminding journey since September 2022.
Offering before and after school in addition to day care and school holidays.
I also have 2 assistants working alongside me every day which is lovely for me and also the children. Each assistant is qualified to a minimum of Level 3 and hold designated safeguarding lead, paediatric first aid and food hygiene.
My Experience
I have worked in Early Years in various roles including been a Nursery Manager for the last 15 years with a Degree in Early Years. I love spending time with the children helping them to learn and develop whilst having fun. I aspire to give every child the very best start in life.
My Qualifications
I have a BA Honours in Childhood and Youth Studies, Early Years Professional Status, Level 5 in Management and Paediatric First Aid amongst others.
My Availability
More spaces becoming available from September 2025 but happy to add anyone to my waiting list as things can change all the time.
Our working hours are 8am-5.30pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-5pm on Fridays depending on availability but I also offer discounted rates for school hours

My little boy was attending Mitchell’s munchkins for 2years 3 months. Within that time I can not give you one single complaint about the care, support and overall help Lisa and her team have shown my son and me. If it wasn’t for the fact that my son is at nursery age he would still be attending.
I have got so many good things to say,
- warm friendly and homely atmosphere
- home made dinners
- cater for the child’s individual development needs
- offer guidance reassurance to parents
- outdoor activities provided
-trips to places such as the farm.
- regular updates as well as picture updates
The list could keep going on. Anyone looking for a childminder I highly recommend these ladies.

I cannot recommend Lisa and her team at Mitchell’s Munchkins enough. My little boy has been with Lisa since the beginning and if he could stay for any longer, trust me I’d keep him there. It isn’t just a childminders, it’s like home from home. The way they care for your little one is amazing and the bond they form with them also. My little boy has reached so many milestones whilst here and has learnt so much. The communication they have is fantastic, you are always getting updates throughout the day and at swap over time at home time you’ll get a run down of how their day has been. They do many activities the kids whether that be fun, learning activities inside or trips to the park and other outdoor activities. Also, due to the set up they have here you never need to worry about your Childminder being off sick or going away as Lisa’s assistant will take lead and run the childminders which works wonderfully as you never have to use extra holiday days at work or worry about urgent childcare. I highly recommend Mitchell’s Munchkins and thank you so much for everything once again!! X

Lisa and her team and absolutely amazing, if you’re looking for a childcare provider, you won’t find any better! We were apprehensive about using a childminder because we were worried about sickness and holiday but because of the unique set up here we never had to worry about that. My son much preferred being in a home based setting than the nursery setting he had tried previously. The facilities are great and the communication between the team and parents also felt really helpful for us to know what he was up to. The team were so great with my son, he can be a sensitive little soul and their care, compassion and patience were unwavering. His sleep has always been awful and they were so accommodating and accepting of his needs around this. He was also diagnosed with allergies while under their care and they did not ever have a problem with meeting his needs! I can genuinely say I have never worried about him for one second while under the care of everyone at Mitchell’s munching, they were a second family to my son.

Lisa is a nice friendly babysitter who is very reliable and we have had no worries about leaving our young son (under 6 months old) with her while we go out. We would highly recommend her to other people
