My name is Eva and I am Ofsted registred Childminder . I have 2 children . Both teenagers.
I have several years of experience as childminder and also as mum and provide warm and friendly home to home inviroment. (see my reviews)
I am Montessori inspired setting with sprinkle of curiosity approach .
I live in a very large house with a large sized garden which can be used all year out . I use our home for children to play and enjoy themselves and we also have dedicated playroom full of toys and craft with messy tray and more .
My house is located on the border of S.Oxhey / Northwood.
I provide a wide range of activities which are stimulating for young minds. We visit local playgroups to give children oportunity to socialise with more children , also visit local library , local parks / nature and other outings.
In my last inspection I have been given GOOD by OFSTED.
From September 2024I am able to offer 15 -30 hours funding for 9 month , 2 yrs , 3 and 4 years old in my setting.
I follow EYFS planing in my setting which is implemented through play. I use secure and encrypted website so parents can access children photos and other information on regular basic. This also allow me to plan activities for each child needs so they reach full potential in there abilities.
The most attention is on the happiness and family feel for all children.
I provide wrap around care for Eastbury farm primary school in Northwood.

5 stars doesn’t seem enough! Couldn’t have more praise for Eva and the work that she does! Eva was flexible, caring and supportive, to us as parents and also to our daughter. I was really nervous leaving our daughter at 11months but Eva settled my fears and elevated all my worries and concerns by keeping us updated, sending pics and loving our daughter!! As well as keeping all the children entertained and teaching them new things daily, developing skills needed to move on to preschool, Eva cares for them, loves them and grows a special and caring bond! All the reviews on here are spot on!! Facilities are also spot on, plenty of space indoors and amazing garden space too and super clean! BEST Childminder we could’ve asked for! 🥰

Eva has been my daughters childminder from the age of 8 months - 4 years (leaving for school). Having an older child and experience with a number of childcare settings I can honestly say Eva’s has been the best. It’s become a home away from home for my daughter. My daughter was a very quiet, shy baby. Eva made sure to take the time to cuddle and comfort her whenever needed and would always update me throughout the day.
Eva provided a range of fun activities within the home, and outdoors, and she would keep me updated with the new topics they were doing. My daughter would always come home with new facts and was excited about the things she was learning.
Eva ensured good manners and hygiene with the children (especially during covid). She even managed to get my very fussy eater to eat a range of fruit and veg!
Eva has been very understanding and flexible and professional, and I would consider her a friend. I would recommend her to anyone.
Thank you so much Eva. We will miss you

I was so lucky to have found Eva. I was looking for someone to look after my two girls for school drop off and pick ups. Her house is very clean, organised and she looks after the girls as a second mum. I higlly recommend Eva, she is very flexible, caring and most important my girls love her. Working full time, I needed someone I could trust and realiable and I have found her!

Eva is simply the best childminder i've ever come across and I would recommend her to everyone looking for one.
Eva has looked after my two children since they were both 6 months old and they now go to her in the holidays now aged 4 and 7.
Eva provides such a nurturing setting for children to learn and play in, but with discipline and boundaries that were similar to my own at home. She ensures the children use manners, share nicely, pack away their toys but also treat the house with respect. These were all values that were important to me in being instilled while i was working full time
Eva worked with my routine with the kids and literally became a second mummy to both my kids.
Now we are emigrating to Australia the kids were most upset about leaving Eva and have shed a lot of tears over it.
Eva does all sorts of activities with the kids, and creates a home from home environment. She certainly does lots more craft and glitter than I do, and for that I'm grateful! As one reviewer said, why do it in your home when she does it in hers!
Eva above all is super flexible and willing to accommodate changes to plan. When i worked full time in London and was commuting by train she was super flexible with late trains and being a few minutes late. There is nothing worse than stressing about being late for childcare and I never had that problem. One time Eva even offered to bath my kids when my tube broke down! Later she accommodated our au pair picking up and dropping off kids and we communicated via phone / whatsapp on the day.
She's become a firm friend over the years and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her. I count her as a major blessing in my life enabling me to balance motherhood and working full time.

Our son spends 3 days per week with Eva and we are so glad to have found her!! She is so lovely with kids!! My son really enjoys his time with her, she is like his second mum!
She entertains them, playgroups, play in the garden or inside, teaching lots of things as well!!
We couldn't expect better for our first experience with a chilminder!! We can't be more grateful for the happiness and development of our son!
We are moving this summer and we are so sad to leave her :( :(
She is the most trustable person you can find for your kids.

My 3 year old daughter absolutely loved her time with Eva. I was initially anxious and guilty about leaving my daughter as she was never looked after by anyone else except me and her dad. It took her a week to adjust and Eva kept assuring me she would be ok. True enough my daughter was always happy whenever I picked her up. Eva is so organised and she gave different activities each time. Her facility is very clean and she has a lovely garden! The best thing about her was she was able to make my daughter eat fruits (something she never attempted eating when at home) =) . My daughter also liked having the other kids around to play with. Eva was the first one I saw online when I looked for a childminder and she had been a blessing to us since. It is with deep sadness that my daughter's time with her had ended due to house move. I highly recommend her to parents looking for a caring and flexible childminder. Thank you so much Eva. Robyn misses you =)

Eva really has established a home from home set up and has taken such good care of our son who has been there for the last 14 months. It was always evident that she cared greatly for him and his well being and he truly enjoyed attending each day and constantly talked about her!
We have always received detailed feedback in both hard copy initially and then via an App which was very useful and gave us a great insight into what our son was doing day to day. She also helped us out on many occasions by looking after our older son if his school was closed and this flexibility has been invaluable and got us out of many a pickle!
She is extremely creative and we really enjoyed the creations our son brought home and these have taken pride of place all around the home. Eva (and her family) are extremely kind and thoughtful even gave our sons Christmas presents which is over and beyond what is expected : )

We have just finished with Eva after approximately 5 years as both of our children will be in full-time school in September. When I was looking for a childminder to have my son when I went back to work, flexibility was really important to me as my husband has a revolving day off so our childcare requirements changed from week to week. Eva was completely open to this and was happy to work around our needs which we were so pleased about.
Having said that, being flexible is all well and good but not if it is at the expense of good love and care for the children. I'm happy to say that Eva ticks all the boxes! In the beginning she used to look after my son before pre-school and drop him off there and then later when he started nursery, she was again flexible and used to look after him in the mornings and drop him to nursery at lunchtime.
By the time he started full time school, we were looking for someone to look after our daughter a couple of days a week. Eva to the rescue again! We also went through a really rough patch when my Mum was very ill which created no end of problems as she used to look after my daughter a couple of days also. Every time Mum had an appointment or was too ill to look after my daughter, Eva stepped in and helped us out. She made a really worrying time much less stressful.
We have always loved receiving updates and photos of the kids playing. They get up to so many fun things at Eva's, it is SO much more than just supervised play. Both my children looked forward to going there and we will miss Eva very much.
Would highly recommend Eva to anyone looking for a childminder.

Eva has been like a part of my family since my older daughter was 9 months old. She's now nearly 7 and her sister is 4 and starting reception in September, so our time with Eva is coming to an end. I can say honestly that we'll probably all be crying!
Eva is caring, compassionate, flexible, energetic, all the things you look for in someone you are handing your children over to. She offers a variety of pastimes to the kids in her care, she takes them to playgroups and music classes, she has lots and lots of toys and games and activities to entertain them at home, both inside and outside. The children are never ever bored with Eva.
Our stupidly early starts never bothered her, she's understanding if my train is late and I'm held up, and she accommodates changes of schedule due to various school/nursery things and doctor's appointments and things like that without a moment's hesitation.
My kids love going to Eva, when they're leaving her house they shower her with kisses and cuddles, and they ask when the next "Eva day" is.
Eva makes my being a working mother much easier and I am more than happy to leave my children in her care. After all, if someone else does Play-doh and glitter it means I don't have to!
Don't consider any other childminders, I heartily recommend Eva to you all.

After a long search for a childminder in May '13 I found Eva through childcare.co.uk. My partner and I met with several childminders before choosing Eva but it was an easy decision as she was so welcoming and friendly. Eva is an energetic, fun, well organised and passionate childminder who truly loves the company of children and my son and daughter clearly love the days out that she organises and the playgroups that they attend. It's a home from home and I have often picked them up to find them having dinner with Eva's two gorgeous children (who are both a wonderful reference for Eva as a parent!). I am truly, truly sad that that my chilldren have to leave Eva's care at the end of the year as she has been very kind to my family in the time we have known her. I highly recommend her.
