About Me
I have two girls aged 8 & 9 and I like to be an active mum. When I am at home I like to be involved with the children as much as possible. I like to make sure that they are pleasant and polite and achieve this by having fun whilst maintaining a good understanding of our expectations. As a family we have several interests including exercise, creativity and arts, all the usual stuff. I enjoy cooking for my family and would make anyone feel welcome in my home.
My partner & I work full time so we are available in the evenings to help out with childcare. Luckily, we have an au pair which enables me, as a mum, to start work extremely early so we understand very specific needs each family has. Working those extra hours in the evening just to get by, it can be tough to find someone willing to look after little ones and feed them etc.
I can be flexible however, I can only babysit at our home due to having our own children.
My Experience
I have been looking after children for as long as I can remember from being an older cousin and being there to lend a hand to having my own children and having to find new and innovative ways to stimulate their minds, keep them engaged with the world in this overwhelmingly technological time and make the most out of the time we share.
I have done potty training, weening and discipline and know that some families like to try new things every now-and-then and others like to stick firmly to what works for them.
As a professional, I have worked in the Metropolitan Police, the London Ambulance Service and now Ford Motor Company. I have always worked various shifts and have always struggled to find someone willing to bend a little to help me out (luckily I had family to help fill the gaps).
My Qualifications
Full Emergency Medical Dispatch diploma achieved within the London Ambulance Service, Full UK Drivers licence.
My Availability
Now that I no longer work shifts I would like to help someone else who may be struggling for the odd night here and there or last minute childcare or something more regular if required
