Fantastic 2 years at Little Bees

I would recommend to everyone who is looking for a warm, family like, fun, educational, safe and reliable environment for their child.
Our boy joined Little Bees when he was 12 months old and stayed there until he was 3 years old. He very quickly adapted to the setting and really loved going there.
Communication is very good, you have a good visibility on how your child’s day is going with a detailed feedback each day.
Ewelina and her co-workers took a fantastic care of my son and I will be forever grateful x

Simply the Best Childminder

We sent both of our child to Little Bees, and we couldn't have wished for a better experience. Ewelina, her family and her team have been amazing. The setting, the settling in, cleanliness, the food, the activities, the learning and the communication have been first class. The only downside is that, as we have moved, we now don't get to see Ewelina everyday. We could not recommend Little Bees highly enough. Thanks again for everything Ewelina, we miss you!

Very happy boy

My little boy attended Little Bees two days a week from September 2023 until August 2024, approximately aged 1yr until aged 2yrs. He settled in quickly and from then on he was a happy little chap marching inside and waving a cheery goodbye to us. He is normally quite clingy to his Mama, so how Ewelina got him so happy and secure going to her and being held by her in front of me is a mystery! She has lots of toys, takes them to the park and does really nice organised activities around easter, christmas, mothers day etc etc. Daily photos and a report at the end of the day. I liked that there were several other kids so my boy learnt about sharing and playing with others. We were sad to leave but my older child changed schools and the location became inconvenient for doing the 2 drop offs. We'll miss you Ewelina!

Amazing Childminder

I would definitely recommend Ewelina and the team at Little Bees. My son started going there at 7 months and couldn’t have been looked after better especially at such young age. Ewelina always organises creative and fun activities in a very homely and gentle environment. She makes sure she sends pictures and the communication is easy via WhatsApp. Thank you so much Ewelina for taking care of Maxime so well.

Amazing child minder

My daughter had the best year in Ewelina’s care and if it wasn’t for moving away she would stay until school. Ewelina always had such a range of fun, creative and messy activities which my daughter loved. No two days were the same and there were regular trips out of home. My daughter’s individual needs were catered to and nothing was ever too much effort. Great daily updates and loads of pictures which was always the highlight of my day. She loved her like family and always asks about her. I’m so happy that I chose Little Bees as her first childcare setting and would recommend to anyone. We miss Evelina dearly :( xx

So sad to leave

We settled our little boy here at 1 year old and he absolutely loved it.
Being with a mixed age group really helped his development and built his confidence.
We were so gutted to leave but unfortunately we moved out of the area, otherwise he'd still be there.
Ewelina is an a star and the kids all love her.

The best there is!

We looked at a few settings before coming across Little Bees and knew instantly it was the one. Ewelina and the team are so welcoming and pay attention to every little detail. Our little boy started at the age of one with a dairy allergy and some sleep requirements which were always handled with the utmost care. We were amazed every day with his progression and development and loved to see the pictures we were sent each day. The menu is always varied and we loved how many different foods were on offer. We were also impressed by the imaginative and different activities each week and the willingness of the team to get stuck in. The Little Bees team soon became a second family and we trust them completely. Our son started preschool last month but we still keep in touch with Little Bees, we aren't ready to say goodbye just yet! Would wholeheartedly recommend!

Like a second family

Little Bees has been like a second family to us for 5 years- both of our children went here from 9 months to 3 years, and we are so sad our youngest is now leaving to start nursery at school. Since nervously sending our first baby there, we have never had a moment of concern or discontent. Our children were both cared for so lovingly and consistently. We felt instantly welcomed by the small community that Ewelina creates between the carers and parents, with daily updates on WhatsApp and even camping trips and pumpkin picking all together. We always felt that the care was effortlessly personalised for each child. The setting may not be the biggest, but Ewelina is tirelessly creative with the space. They do amazing messy play every day, and tons of themed indoor and outdoor activities with Ewelina’s artistic flourish always shining through. The food is home cooked and the kids eat and sleep like none of us parents can ever manage at home! Tons of photos every day and always opportunity to chat at the door. We feel so lucky we found this place for our children, and would not hesitate to recommend with the highest confidence. If you want your child to feel loved and not lost in a crowd with ever-changing staff, this is the place!

5 star Childminder. THE BEST!!

Little bees has been a great setting for our Son. Ewelina and her team looked after my son since he was 9 months old. She always put the well-being of the kids first and the number of creative and fun activities have been endless. She also takes the kids to the zoo, museums, weekly visits to local park… my son has always loved it. She really focuses and respects the kids imagination, and has taught my son to play independently. Communication is great and we received daily pictures and videos. She also focuses on arranging meet ups for the parents so we can meet each others. My son is 3.5yo and with a heavy heart we have to leave her setting but if I have another kid I will definitely come back to Little bees. Thank you Ewelina, B and us will really really miss you and you all.

The best, I really recommend this childminder

We started our daughter at Little Bee’s after she didn’t really settle in at a nursery. We were quite apprehensive to start somewhere new, but Ewelina and her team were amazing. We had so much support from the start and our daughter was really cared for and looked after. Settling in can take as long as you or your child needs, and they take their time to understand what the children need in order to feel safe and happy. My daughter settled well and made amazing friends aswell as loving Ewelina and the team. We sadly had to leave as we moved location, but we can’t recommend Little Bees enough. The children get a lot of attention and care and they do so many fun activities each day. Also communication is really good and fast and that’s what you want when it’s anything to do with your child. Thanks for everything Ewelina :)

The best!

Our son absolutely loved Little Bee’s, they took such great care and consideration with him. I can’t thank them enough! We added on days as it was going so well. A highlight I think was going to the transport museum- his dream come true! We only left as we moved abroad and hope to find something as good for him here. 😊

Amazing!

Little Bees has been amazing with supporting our child’s development. It’s a home away from home where we knew our son was being taken care of with love. Our son always ran straight into the setting in the mornings with a huge senile on his face.
Our son joined little bees at 7months and stayed for two years. He was taught to be gentle and empathetic towards other children and adults.
Ewelina and her team are very gentle and loving with the children. They can accommodate to practically anything and provide the kids with great educational and arty activities (Ewelina is very creative with art and crafts). They also take the kids out in their garden or at the park.
The food is cooked fresh everyday and they provide healthy balanced nutritious meals. Our son is a big veggie and fruit lover thanks to them!
Finally, we found it very easy to communicate with Ewelina and her team which has been a huge help.
We strongly recommend Ewelina and her team and couldn’t have dreamt for a better environment for our child.

Home from home for our little boy!

We were nervous about leaving our 'pandemic baby' with a childminder as he was so used to being at home with only us (and big sis!) Ewelina and her small team were very supportive and he quickly bonded with them. He was always happy to go in to Little Bees in the morning and happy to see us in the evenings. We think our boy really benefitted from having a small group of children around his age as well as the range of activities that Ewelina had on offer. The setting also provides lovely home cooked food and is very flexible around nap schedules etc. We always got photos through the day and a daily diary as well as a chat at the door so we could keep up to date with what our boy was doing. We have moved on now as we have moved away from the area but we will miss Little Bees.

Little Bees is the bees knees

We discovered Little Bees back in 2015 when looking for childcare for our son. Little Bees was the first provider we went to see and Ewelina made such a good impression we knew straight away it would be the perfect setting for us. We loved how Little Bees has a family feel, and we are so happy we became part of the Little Bees family for over 5 years! The LB team are amazing. Every day was filled with such a wide range of activities. They went on exciting trips to the park, and even took the tube into London to visit museums and exhibitions. I was so grateful they embraced messy play on a daily basis, which meant we rarely had to do it at home! They are very well resourced and regularly update and improve their provision to ensure the children are getting the best of what’s available. We loved how the LB team is so creative, original and fun - our children were so happy every day they spent in their care. The pastoral care is second to none and we always knew our children were well cared for and that their personal, social and emotional development was prioritised. Our daughter attended Little Bees from 2018 and she had some medical needs which Little Bees worked alongside us to support her with. We knew she was always safe in their hands. We were always impressed with the food menu and they would even send a flask of soup or stew home with our daughter when they knew she wouldn’t eat anything at home. We really appreciated how Little Bees went above and beyond to organise social events for the parents, including drinks at the pub, weekend Easter egg hunts at the park complete with Krzys dressed up as the Easter bunny! The annual summer camping trip was a highlight of the year for children and parents alike! We really can’t thank Ewelina, Krzys and Gosia enough for caring for our 2 children and giving them the best start to their early years. Thank you LB you will always have a special place in our hearts and we miss you all very much.

Best childminder ever

I found Little Bees via this website and it was the best decision to send my son to Ewelina and her two assistants! My son started at the age of 7 months and stayed there until he turned three. Ewelina, Krzysztof and Gosia are such lovely, warm- hearted and caring people and my son found a second family away from home. The settling in approach is really gentle and Ewelina and her team know exactly how to support each child in their development. My son has become a confident, gentle young person who loved every single day at Little Bees. What I loved the most are the creative and imaginative ideas of play they organise at little Bees every day. Also, when you visit the setting you will notice how gentle the kids interact with each other. There is no pushing or screaming, just lovely and happy kids.
What really worked for us was also that good and nappies were provided. The food is varied and healthy and my son has turned into a little veggie lover who still talks about Ewelina’s beetroot soup!
Little Bees, I can’t thank you enough for what you e done for us! We miss the Little Bees family and hope to see you soon! You’re always in our hearts!

Brilliant Bees!

Our son joined Little Bees when he was 13 months old. We chose Little Bees because Ewelina seemed lovely and very accommodating (we didn’t want our son to eat meat) and the phone conversations we had with existing Little Bees parents over the phone filled us with confidence, as they were so positive. It was also really great to have a male carer in the form of Kris, Ewelina’s husband, who is great at entertaining the children. We’ve been continually grateful of this decision since.
Ewelina helped us to plan a settling in schedule that worked for our boy and my return to work. She was very flexible and understanding. She was very professional providing all the correct paperwork and clearly takes pride in her work and childcare setting. Ewelina welcomed our boy into her home and family.
We are soon leaving London and so after one and a half years, our son will be leaving Little Bees. Leaving Little Bees is the worst bit about leaving London! We feel so lucky to have found such a caring and nurturing environment that feels like family. Little Bees is a joyful, creative and loving place where the carers make a huge effort for the children. As well as a daily diary, we receive daily messages via WhatsApp telling us what our boy is up to and photos and videos too. There is both a private chat direct to the parents and a group chat with the other parents. Prior to Covid, Ewelina made an effort to have socials for the Little Bees and their parents, for example, we went camping and even had a Mums’ trip to the pub, all of which creates a lovely community. When our boy turned two we had the Little Bees over for a party and he always talks very fondly of his friends at Little Bees, Ewelina, Kris and Gosia. We know he’ll miss them all immensely.
We’re now expecting our second child and I wish we were able to send him/her to Little Bees, but unfortunately it is a bit too far from Sheffield! We’d absolutely recommend Little Bees.

Like a second home!

We started our 10 month old at Little Bees a few months ago. Having spent most of his life in lockdown without any family nearby he had been quite anxious in new environments and had never spent time away from us, so we were particularly worried about him settling. Ewelina was really supportive and came up with a settling in plan that eased him (and us!) in really gently. He has blossomed since being there and we now have a happy, confident little boy who doesn't seem to be afraid of anything! Ewelina is very knowledgable and is always happy to answer any questions I have about teething, toys, food etc. The team put a huge amount of thought into the activities they do each day and always send videos and photos to let us know what he has been up to. We also get a detailed report every day on nap times, food and what skills he has been developing. The transition back to work has been made so much easier for me knowing how happy, settled and cared for he is. Little Bees has come to feel like a second home for our little boy and I could not recommend it enough!

Little Bees is truly a gem of childcare!

I met Ewelina whilst looking for childcare for my eldest daughter in 2015.
I had visited numerous children centres, nurseries and childminders but nothing quite felt “right”, and I didn’t have full confidence in any of the carers I met.
As soon as I met Ewelina I knew that I had found who I wanted to look after my daughter whilst I was at work! I was welcomed into Little Bees and greeted by Ewelina and her Team and saw an incredibly happy group of children - I was hooked!
Ewelina provided excellent childcare, her professionalism was second to none, and her support to me was constant.
Being able to have confidence in someone to care for your child when you’re not there is something special, and knowing Ewelina went above and beyond for the children is priceless.
When I was expecting my second daughter there was no question where I wanted her to go when I returned to work!
It was wonderful to have both my daughters have overlapping time at Little Bees - and it remains a very precious place for them.
Ewelina provides excellent educational activities for the children which they have both thrived with and I’ve felt very lucky to have videos and photos sent to me when there’s been a particularly fun activity. In fact, both my girls took their 1st steps whilst with Ewelina and in both cases I was sent a video showing their encouragement and excitement when these steps were taken. This shows great levels of understanding from Ewelina as she knew I would have loved to have been there.
I have also found Ewelina a fantastic source of non-judgemental and unbiased advice. I feel confident to ask her anything about the girls, she is wonderfully honest and I found his refreshing.
My girls are both now at school and still talk fondly of their time at Little Bees and love seeing Ewelina, the Team and their Little Bee friends when they can.
Little Bees is truly a gem of childcare!

Couldn’t wish for a better childminder

We have two children and they both went to Littles bees so we now have been with them for almost 5 years!
Ewelina, Chris ans Gosia have been amazing from the start. They welcome the children with warmth and kindness and my two have had no difficulties settling in. They are very well organised and set up amazing activities for the kids so they can learn and have fun at the same time.
Ewelina cooks everything herself so it’s all balanced and healthy. My kids still speak about her chicken soup!
Their is good communication with parents and Ewelina is always accommodating for changes when she can. The team is very professional as well as kind and warm.
I have always felt very safe leaving the children with littles bees and they have always been very happy to go.
The children have made great friends there and I was always very touched to see how well the kids get on in the setting. If they meet outside they are always happy to see each other and hug. This is the best testimony to the nurturing and kind atmosphere in the setting When kids are happy and create lasting bonds.
I would recommend it strongly!

Excellent care, happy kids!

Ewelina took care of our baby boy since he was 4 months old. All the anxiety of leaving my baby with somebody else was softened by her professionalism and dedication to the well-being of the kids. Ewelina and her team provide a lovely family-like environment with very good conditions for babies and toddlers, a lot of activities, a lot of fun and a feeling of happiness in the air! They helped Gabriel to develop into a very happy, curious, self-confident little boy that trusts his carers and loves to interact with other kids. We sure miss them!

I was recommended bezubik5 by several people in the area. I met several childminders before making my decision, but for me bezubik5 stood out as by far the most professional, sincere and committed. She sended up looking after my children for two years until we moved away from the area. We didn't have family to help out locally so relied on bezubik5 a lot, and I can honestly say I can't imagine trusting my kids to anyone else. bezubik5 has an incredible way with kids - authoritative, but kind and gentle at the same time. All the kids she looks after really love her, . bezubik5 house is very child-friendly and she goes the extra mile to organise interesting and fun things for them to do, both at home, at playgroups and on the frequent often very generous outings she plans for them. It's a real home-from-home experience. There is always plently of interaction and no dumping in front of screens, etc. A total diamond.
