About Me

Hello, my name is Annemarie Murphy, the children call me Mimi, as it’s a name that was given to me when my niece was learning how to talk and it has stuck ever since. I am a 44 year old mum to my daughter who is 20. My daughter now lives in Manchester, as she attends university there, she still frequently visits home and is CRB/DBS checked. I offer a safe, happy, healthy, warm and caring environment with plenty of room for fun and laughter.

Your children will be welcomed as part of my family, I will incorporate as much of their routine as I can into our day, I will encourage the children to become confident in their little day to day challenges by showing them unconditional love and support. I work along side some of the most lovely childminders in Halton, with their children whom they mind, so your child/ren will get plenty of opportunities to play with other children.

I am an Ofsted registered childminder and have completed several courses and workshops. I am a member of Pacey and hold my public liability insurance with the Royal & Sun Alliance. My home is a non-smoking environment and I have 4 Guinea pigs, which the children adore.


I promote healthy eating at meal and snack times. In my setting I will encourage children to become confident, independent and polite individuals.

I live in a terraced house, with a warm, cosy and child oriented feel, I am a few minutes walking distance from Victoria Park, where we will have plenty of opportunity to visit the ducks and other wildlife. I also take the children on days out, to other parks, Delamere forest, beaches and national trust places.

I offer weekly activities that will tie in with your children's development and the Early years Foundation. Some of the activities are: Mark making, Play dough, arts and crafts, puzzles, learning colours shapes numbers and phonics, story times, baking, dressing up, song time, building and many many more.
