About Me
Hannah’s Little Lambs provides a loving, caring and stimulating learning environment that is individually tailored to your child’s needs and abilities by my self Hannah Green (Ofsted Registered Childminder).
I live with my 2 little boys close to firth park. We take regular outings to local parks, toddler groups and allotments as well as creating a warm and welcoming home environment for all children to explore who they are and master new skills through quality play resources.
Alex, my mum, and Olivia, my cousin, who became registered as childminders last year, are also able to offer childcare during the day and wrap around care for St Patrick's primary school and Hucklow Primary school. We all live locally to the Northern General Hospital and will continue to provide high quality childcare services and developmental opportunities and experiences for children from birth to 11 years of age.
We will have full time and part time vacancies for school aged children and a variety of vacancies for those ages 0-4 years. Between us we can provide drop off and collection at St Patrick's School and nursery, Hucklow school and nursery and St Catherine's school and nursery.
In addition, we are registered to provide the Free Early Learning hours to children aged 2, 3 and 4 years of age.
Please enquire about our availability for emergency childcare and babysitting as this will vary regularly !

My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 11 years in May 2021!
I became a mummy in September 2013, to baby Ilijah and again in April 2017 to Isaac, so I can now empathise with all the parents out there!
I completed an NVQ level 3 in child care, learning and development as well as countless other short courses and completed a PGCE at University in Feb 2016.
My Qualifications
I started learning about children and their development when I chose to study GCSE Child Development at the age of 14.
My studies continued throughout a university degree (BSc Criminology and Psychology) where my interests grew around how early child hood difficulties and differences need attention, to allow each child to develop in the way that suits them best.

My Availability
I am open Monday to Friday from 7.30am until 6.00pm, but will consider earlier starts and later finishes
We currently have part time vacancies for children aged 5-11 years and various vacancies for children aged 0-4. We can provide after school collection from St Patrick's School and nursery, hucklow school and nursery and st Catherine's school and nursery.
In addition, we are also qualified to provide the Free Early Learning hours to children aged 2, 3 and 4 years of age.
And currently can be available for emergency childcare and babysitting!

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £6.00 per hour
These will vary depending on the time of day and the length of time the care is required for.
For an average 8am until 5pm working day it will be £4 per hour.
Baby sitting £6-8 per hour depending on duties, number of children and length of shift.

From the very first contact with Hannah we felt that she is the right person for our daughter. She is very kind, patient and thoughtful person. She has always been accommodating with our requests when it came to clothing, footwear and managing meal times. We love the fact that Hannah is incredibly professional, keeping us up to date with our daughter’s development and meeting her milestones and engages us parents monitoring this progress in our home environment. She keeps detailed record of all they do every day, which is always packed with adventures which take place mainly outdoors, they learn about the nature which is very important to us as parents. To add she is incredibly supporting on the personal level, she always ready to give a practical guidance on how to manage tantrums, bedtime routines or how to get the kids to follow instructions. Our daughter settled with Hannah pretty much straight away and already formed very close friendship with other children in her care. We are very grateful to Hannah for her loving care and support. Following the arrival of our second child we decided to move our daughter from a nursery setting to a childminder. Hannah was welcoming from the first visit and made us all feel at home. Our little girl is always asking when she is going back, and our son had no problem settling in when I returned to work. Hannah treats our children as her own, they join in with family breakfast and her boys are very kind and gentle with them, our little ones are always welcomed by name by her youngest son. When they first started, Hannah was very communicative during the day, reassuring me that they were settling in well. I feel completely at ease when the children are with Hannah, which has made returning to work easier.

Hannah was very patient in finding out my 2 year old child’s needs and she was extremely accommodating — I couldn’t decide our days at first, she made great effort to meet our needs, and was very supportive when I requested to swap our days later on. She was very keen on getting to know my son and to understand his personality in order to provide good care. She was always improving her approaches as she got to know my son better. My son loved spending time with Hannah, especially when she took them out to places (parks, play groups, etc) and he has definitely improved his social skills.
It’s a shame that I had to stop my son’s care from Hannah for absolute no fault of her, but for our own reasons — Hannah has been very positive, motivational, patient and kind to my son. I would recommend her to anyone who needs childcare with no reservations.

We are so happy to have found Hannah to take care of our little girl. She is very kind and approachable and our daughter loves her days there. She has a lovely respectful tone with the children which is really important to us. Hannah can be flexible with plans and timings which has made working with her very easy. We unfortunately have to move out of the area in a few weeks but we wish we could take her with us! She will be missed by our little girl.

Hannah is a wonderful person who gained my 3 years old daughter’s trust on the very first day. She is very energetic and always has a smile for everyone. My daughter visited a nursery for a few months before we found Hannah and she never really enjoyed to be there. She is completely different now. She is smiling a lot and has more trust in people. The English is her second language so me and my husband are very happy to listen to her how she develops her language skills every day. Hannah always has activities for the children whatever the weather is. I would really recommend her who needs childcare.

I would like to recommend Hannah for everyone needing childcare. We met Hannah when we needed emergency childcare and she was immediately available and there to help. She was very welcoming and very prepared even with such a short notice and she looked after our daughter all day. The house is very clean and tidy. She took the children out to the park and playground and she sent me pictures of our daughter showing how well she was doing as she knew how worried I was. All in all she was great and I would definetly recommend Her to anyone!

Hannah is an amazing childminder I would definitely recommend her she is flexible and such a kind person. Don't think their is a thing I can fault about her, my kids adore her and love going sometimes they never want to leave hers. She is lovely with kids and very easy to talk to and so friendly. If you don't have a child minder I would definitely say you should go with her ??

As a single mother of 3 children , hannah looks after molly my yougest daughter of 2 1/2 years old most of the time , but on school holidays she takes on the responsabilty of looking after my other 2 children Rhys age 10 and laci age 9 while i am at work . i have to report with great sastisfaction that hannah is a remarkable and delightful child minder . the standard she sets are of the highest quality . she takes an active interrest in not only the educational side of things but also on the social skills and well being of molly . molly has developed greatly under the guidance of hannah and looks forward greatly to her time with hannah as they have both bonded together . hannah as a child minder actively seeks to enhance her high standards she has set in her work as child minding with a smile and devotion . i am happy to recomand her to anyone who is looking for a reliable and dedicated child minder who is happy to work with children of any age and shows great flexibilty in the hours and time required for looking after children . emma. xx
