As parents our children are our most precious assets in life.. your selection process should be carefully considered and all your needs, concerns and expectations should be satisfied before making that all important decision, If I can help with this process please take the time to read on.

I live in the area of Hall Green with my husband and our two children; I have been a Registered Childminder for over twenty one years and my business is conveniently located to Solihull Town Centre as well as being easily accessible to the main roads for Birmingham and the M42 motorway.

I currently work Monday through to Thursday providing children with a fantastic, varied and stimulating family environment. I feel that children in our care benefit from the better child to adult care ration over that of which a Day Nursery can offer.

I do not undermine the benefits of group interaction for children and we always find time to attend play groups during the week as well as visiting National trust. Children learn from having fun and this is key in our aims as a child carer.

If you are able to think of something new for us to try with your children, safely of course, then we are always prepared to explore new ideas, children love adventures and we participate in many activities both at home and away from the setting.

I have gained a wide range of knowledge around caring for children, from new born babies to teenagers at Secondary School. Complimenting my experience I am also qualified in the field of child care - NVQ level 3.

I am Ofsted Registered with a grade of 'Outstanding' and the holder of the ‘Quality First’ standard in Child Care.

I am proud to say that I am also a ‘Network Accredited Childminder’ who is able to offer Early Years Education funding,

I hasten to add that childminders are able to draw down this funding for children aged 3 yrs of age!
(Free 15/30 hours per week funded once your child is over 3 years old).
(Free 15 hours per week funded once your child is over 2 years old).

Not many Childminder’s can boast being accredited but it demonstrates my commitment and the importance upon which I place the care of the children visiting our setting.

I am very passionate about my childminding and really enjoy working with the children, I believe that I create a relaxed environment so the children feel confident to develop, somewhere which feels like a second home.

Think carefully and make your choice wisely when deciding who is to take care of your child,this decision needs to be made wisely. No question is a silly question, we would always want you to feel comfortable asking anything that you needed to know...

I feel that visiting the setting and get a good feeling for the childminder and the way in which they conduct their business is essential for the selection process of finding the best child care provider.
