"FULL AND PART-TIME PLACES AVAILABLE FOR SEPTEMBER STARTS"......Hello, my name is Marie. I live in a semi-detatched house with my husband and three children. We live in the hindley green area in Wigan under Wigan council . I have been working as a professional registered childminder,registered with OFSTED for the previous 18 years,a member of PACEY with full public liability insurance and a full CRB. All members of my family who are resident in my home over the age of sixteen are fully CRB checked.Before that i worked as a qualified nursery nurse in a nursery for nine years with some managerial experience.I live in a friendly welcoming home in a lovely quiet area in Hindley green which is accessible to all primary schools in the area along with nursery and other local facilities I.e play groups, sure start centre,swimming baths,local parks. I do many activities that involve children to socialise with others giving children opportunities to fulfil their full potential. My home setting is a relaxed calm environment that children seem to settle very well into . I also have a large garden for the children to explore in which gives me the added opportunity to provide exciting exploration activities on our doorstep. I do my up most best to provide as many wonderful experiences for your children but with the welcoming feeling of a home from home environment. I do have a dog that has been a member of the family for seven years brought up with children and very much enjoys the children's company in a well supervised manner.
My Experience
I have experience of working with children from newborn through to age eleven in my professional role as a childminder and nursery nurse and as a parent ongoing. My eldest is 25years of age. I have had experience with older children from 16 to adults with special educational needs within a day care centre which I found to be a Most rewarding experience. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing children happy within my care. Doing activities they enjoy and learning from the experiences they have. I will always endeavour to provide individual care for your children's individual needs as this is most important for your child's development and well being.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified nursery nurse I currently hold a Diploma in nursery nursing(NNEB) Foundation degree in Arts having followed an approved programme in Early Years Eduction and Care with University of Central Lancashire(UCLAN). ICO certificate in childminding practice,Completed Course in Helping and Working in School. Level two in Adult literacy and Adult Numeracy. Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 in Food Safety and catering, Level 2 in Health and Safety in the Workplace, Safeguarding Children, Cultural Awareness and recent training on the new Early Years Foundation Stage(EYFS). Alongside many more. I keep up to date with all relevant training that is required plus much more.
My Availability
I am flexible with working hours monday to friday as i understand the hectic life of working parents. I Currently drop off/collect at (Thomas Street)Hindley green C .P school and nursery, St. John's junior and infant school Hindley green and Sacred Heart Primary School Hindley green. My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
My Prices are fare and are priced accordingly upon what care is required when discussed with parent/carer . Flexi days available, am or pm sessions plus full days. Childcare vouchers accepted.Term time contracts available for teachers etc.
