My Summary
About Me
Hello there, my name is Natasha I am 30 years old. I am an incredibly happy bubbly person and enjoy a variety of activities and adventures. I love to bake so I hope you like cake and cookies as I love to get children involved in baking and creating. I love to read and immerse myself in new worlds and I am more than happy to read to any age and genre. I love to have fun, I am a warm and welcoming person but fully understand the vital importance of keeping up with confidentiality and health and safety. I have a CACHE L3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, qualified in 2013. Since then I have worked in a variety of positions and environments; including kids rep, ski nanny; private nanny and a traditional Nursery setting. I have 12years’ experience working in a variety of ages; I also hold a BTEC L2 in childcare. I love working with children and feel that as practitioners we need to give the children in our care the best chance and opportunities that we can. In my role as a childcare practitioner I aim to provide children in my care a range of activities that will help the children in my care develop into a well-rounded happy individuals; allowing them to be able to learn and develop into the best versions of themselves that they can be. The activities that I provide and organise for the children in my care are all age and stage appropriate and definitely a lot of fun! I love to get messy and love to see the joy and wonder in the children’s eyes when we get messy with activities such as: jelly play, body paint gloop play, water based activities, clean mud, science experiments and many more. These activities may seem to be aimed at younger children however it is my experience that as long as you are able to expand and reduce the activity, children of any age (including teenagers) will enjoy these activities.
My Experience
From a young age I would always be asked by family and friends to babysit their children which has all allowed me to decide on my future career working with children. From an even younger age I was always the one at gatherings that would look after and entertain the younger children.
Whilst gaining my qualification I worked as part of my placement in a variety of settings ranging from birth to 5 years. These settings include a baby centre, both private and state nursery settings each of these settings has given me something to strive for or a different experience and joy in the field that I love. A quite different area that I also have experience in is the school setting specifically year one, which I thoroughly enjoyed but did miss being able to give my full attention to a smaller group of children.
Once qualified I had the privilege to go abroad and work with children ranging from 4 months all the way through to 17 years old. I have been able to achieve this by working both summer and winter seasons. My summer months were spent working in Messini, Greece and Baia de Mori, Sardinia for Neilson Active Holidays as part of their kid’s club staff. Here is where I worked in the ‘starfish’ group who catered for children aged 4months to 23months. But also helped when needed with the other groups who catered from 2 years to 17 years. In my winter season I worked for VIP SKI as a private chalet nanny in Val d’Isere. In this environment I was based in the family’s chalet for children from age 4months up to 12 years. within this role I was required to take and collect the children from ski school provide a healthy and nutritious meal for lunch I would then entertain them for the rest of the day that the parents had booked me for. This could include taking them back to ski school if that were booked or if they were younger, I would take them to soft play or the farm. I would also arrange to meet up with some of the other nannies that I worked with if we had similar age children. Since completing my seasons’, I have worked as a nanny as part of the Asquith Nannies team, working in both the family home and a local Asquith nursery setting. This meant that I was required to adapt between the policies and procedures for the nursery and the home setting and the Nannies team policies and procedures. I have for the past two years have worked at a private nursery as deputy manager so fully understand the need for organise and structure. I have also been a live in private nanny to a family or four; including all the things you may need relating to childcare in the family home and supporting the families individual needs. I also have very high standards of cleanliness and organisation that will ensure that the children’s toys and games are kept clean especially in the current climate.

Tasha (Natasha) has been a part-time nanny for my two girls from age 2 and 4. She is an extremely experienced practitioner having run a nursery and several holiday clubs. She truly understands children and there's nothing she hasn't seen or can't cope with. She is compassionate, communicative and fun. She gets on with things, is extremely open and honest - and has always given me all the information around my children - from bumps and scrapes, to temperament. She understands children, and they instantly warm to her. She is a joy to have in your home and around your children. I won't hesitate to recommend her for a role. We are sadly moving cities and I know my girls will miss her greatly - especially the lovely cakes she bakes!
