About Me
GRADED OUTSTANDING for the 3rd time WITH OFSTED AUGUST 22. I am a bubbly, excellently referenced, friendly, happy OFSTED Registered Childminder living on the Wirral. I have been childminding for 24 years and have oodles of lovely references from the children and parents I have cared for over the years. I recently gained the grade "OUTSTANDING in all areas " with Ofsted again for my 2016 inspection ,which I am very proud of. My setting is a lovely homely house with a huge playroom for the children and and lovely outdoor garden. I live for my job and just adore making memories and extending the children and babies thirst for knowledge. Everyday is wonderful, exciting and happy , we specialise in the EYFS curriculum making learning fun and easy, from 9 month old funding 1, 2,3,4 year old funding available and we accept childcare voucher schemes, phone or email for a chatter and see for yourself !!
My Experience
I care for the children as if they were my own and we have so much fun , so much so I have been childminding for 26 years. I love my job and also have a Degree in early years education. I am also NVQ 3 qualified in Early Years Education, Level 6 in Early years practice, First aid certified, 5 star food hygiene rated, and many more certificates in various courses as well as Safeguarding children, health and nutrition in Early years etc. come and join in the fun at "The Happy Bunch" !
Coming from a large family I was one of six, I had an idyllic childhood full of love and adventures and wish to re create that in my setting, home cooked foods, group family games and fun, mixed age ranges, - a house full of love and laughter, where children are nurtured, loved,secure and happy, I was recently told by a teacher that she can always tell when a child has come to school from my setting as they are always well spoken, bright eyed , happy, well mannered and a joy to teach, how lovely to hear I was beaming xx

My 2 year old daughter absolutely adored her time with Julia. Caring, friendly and went above and beyond. A true home from home for your little one. Julia takes the time to get to know your child and supports them through all areas of their development, from speaking, eating, sleeping and she accommodates every child's needs. She also has a beautiful setting which gave my daughter the best start to childcare. Clean, safe and exciting. I couldn't have returned to work so effortlessly without Julia, she made it so simple, I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would 100 percent recommend her.

My son had been with Julia for over 10 years, nothing is too much trouble for her. Amazing settings for the children to flourish and learn.

As working parents we couldn’t ask for better care for our daughters. The girls have been in Julia’s care from the ages of 11 months and 9 months (currently 6 and 3), they have received love and encouragement in a fabulous nurturing setting that allows them to thrive. The range of activities and beautiful home and garden give the girls the opportunity to play and learn in a safe, home from home environment that they can’t wait to return to, and for us the perfect childcare option.

We're really happy that Julia's setting is an excellent place for our child. It is very homely, and her team are kind and caring. Kids get to enjoy games, learning through play, arts and crafts, and can safely play outdoors when weather allows. Our daughter is very happy there.
