About Me
Hi I am Carrie an accredited childminder registered with Ofsted. I am also a member of the southend children come first network. I am insured by and a member of Pacey. I am an accredited childminder which means I can claim the preschool funding for 3 and 4 year olds and also 2 year olds who are entitled to funding, which is 15 hours a weeks.
I live with my partner and my 2 sons who are 19 and 13 and i have a 3 year old daughter. I do school collections from Temple Sutton primary school We have a family dog called Sophie, she is a Labrador. Sophie is very friendly but she stays upstairs whilst I am working.
I have completed the level 3 diploma in childcare and the young peoples workforce.

I have a large living and play area for the children, I also have a large child friendly garden with lots of equipment. If you have your child in a routine I will stick to this where I can.
Each day I like take the children out somewhere like a toddler group or to the library for story rhymes. We also visit many out door places such as park and beach.
As a registered childminder I follow the EYFS requirments for all children on the early years age group
My Experience
I have been childminding for 20 years. All the children I have looked after have always enjoyed there time at my setting.
I do provide all children with healthy food choices this includes snacks and we have healthy home cooked dinners all together. these are all included and no extra is required.
My Qualifications
My qualifications are=
level 3 Diploma in childcare.
Introduction to childminding practice.
First aid for chilcare practitioners. .
Promoting positive behaviour.
Child protection.
Equal opportunities and english as an additional language.
Level 2 in food hygiene and safety.
Working with disabled children.
Speech and language course
My Availability
I normally work from 7am to 6.30pm but I will try to be flexible if I can. I do work all year around including school holidays. I do have some space available. Please contact for availability.
If you have a child starting school in september and would like to book your place now I am happy to keep spaces open with a small deposit.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Included in fees are a healthy home cooked evening meal.
Healthy snacks provided between meals.
Water, fruit juice and milk always available as well as fruit.
Children are taken on outing and trips. These are at no extra cost.
Hourly rate 5.50

It's been a pleasure.
Carrie is a fantatsic Childminder. She took my daughter, Emily (8), on at the last minute with no hesitation and was very warm and welcoming towards us.
Emily was very unsure about going to a new childminder but Carrie put her at ease and helped all of us adjust to the new routine.
Emily throroughly enjoys interacting with the other children and very much enjoys the activities and games. Carrie's home is lovely and there's always something to do.
I can't thank Carrie enough for all her help.
