About Me
Here at Toria’s Childminding we have fun.
I offer a fully inclusive, Ofsted registered childminding service to care for your child in a safe and nurturing home from home environment, based in a village, and within walking distance of open fields and woodland.

Each child is treated as an individual, taking into account their likes, wishes and potential for a tailored service to fully meet their own specific needs.
We enjoy a wide range of activities designed to cover the different ages of the children taking part, including accessing our local and wider community, offering learning experiences and ultimately enabling the children to develop a wide range of skills for their future, all whilst having great fun.
I work within the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage to fully enable children to develop at their own pace as individuals, whilst highlighting areas of development to encourage them to meet their full potential......and we get messy, we have adventures, we laugh a lot and we play!
I have a real passion for reading and supporting children's access to books and storytelling, I encourage imagination and role play to explore our world. I also am keen on a Forest School approach and we play outside every day. We grow our own vegetables here at Torias, and keep 12 chickens, and I actively encourage all the children to become involved in their care, from feeding to egg collecting.
I have achieved a "Good" at both my Ofsted inspections and it was noted I am able to offer an exceptional service with regards to inclusion and my work with parents. My current Ofsted inspection reports are available to see via the Ofsted website.

My Experience
I have been childminding since January 2011 prior to which I worked in Social Services in Northamptonshire for 16 years, most recently in the Disabled Children’s Team, providing social work support and care packages to families and children. I have also volunteered with Girl Guiding for many years prior to becoming a parent.
I am a mum of 3, an 25 year old daughter who lives away, a 16 year old son and an 15 year old daughter, and have huge experience of working with children and families. At Toria’s Childminding we are a relaxed, home based childcare service, providing a home from home experience for your little one, working in partnership with you and having the flexibility to ensure each child is happy, fulfilled and most importantly enjoying themselves.
My Qualifications
I have completed a Diploma in Home Based Child Care, specifically for childminding, and I have an HNC Diploma in Social Care, incorporating Children's Services.
I hold up to date certificate in Paediatric First Aid
I have also had specific training in:-

Planning and Observation (which relates to meeting childrens needs within a childminding setting)

Disability and Inclusion

I am constantly undergoing professional, personal development, attending courses and conferences, participating in online training and seminars, and keeping fully up to date with both the local and national current guidelines and expectations.
I am registered with Ofsted, the Information Commissioners Office and hold a full UK driving licence with business insurance.
My Availability
I work from 8 till 5.30 four days a week.
Please ask about school collection and drops offs as this will depend on the children currently attending.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I have a pricing structure to cover before and after school care, half day rates, full day rates, early start sessions.
I am able to accept funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Victoria has looked after my little boy for 2 years (since the age of 12 months). In that time I have been so impressed by her. Victoria is reliable, kind, caring, very calm, knowledgeable and her interaction with children of all ages is fantastic. The care she has taken with my boy has been exceptional. He has been on many trips out and the learning he has done has been above anything I could have expected. Victoria has encouraged him and given him confidence in his play, speaking and development. My son loves being with her.
Victoria is an excellent childminder and I count myself lucky to have found her. I can whole heartedly recommend her.
