About Me

Ofsted Registered Childminder, with full and part time spaces available from Jan 2025 onwards. Working with an assistant who has recently qualified with BA Honors Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Chichester University.
I was previously an Ofsted registered childminder for over 20 years and after really missing working with early years children, took the decision to re-registered with Ofsted.
I am a qualified NVQ4 Advanced Practitioner, having held a position of 'Preschool Manager 'for 5 years before moving on to a role of 'Childminding and out of school development officer' for Swindon Borough Council.

I have my own older children, cats, a friendly small dog and chickens for the children to enjoy looking after.
I have a large garden, with outside resources including a sunken trampoline, slide, tyre swing, bikes, gardening oppurtunities, plank play and mud kitchen. We visit the local wood, local play areas and watch the tractors in the fields at the end of the garden.

My approach to childcare is based on positive attachements, kindness and involving the children in the day, spending lots of our time outdoors We have at least one story time every day with many fun story sacks to explore. My house has a huge variety of toys and books for children to enjoy, a family dining area to enjoy lunches and learn to cook together, a large hall way to build the longest train tracks and bifold doors from the loung to the garden for free flow play. Can accomodate travel cots and sleeping mats for supervised rest time.
