About Me
My name is Ruth, I live in Charvil with my husband Lloyd and my two beautiful children (7 & 10).
As a childminder my aim is to make your children feel secure and comftable in my home, giving them an environment to explore and be themselves, experienment and risk take safely. There are plenty of toys and activities to keep the children having fun and being engaged, whether its playdough making, painting,cooking or science experiments.
I really encoruage outdoor play, learning about nature and the enviorment. I have a lovely sized garden which is ready to explore and is always changing.
I have many animals in my home, including a dog (miniature labradoodle), cat, giant rabbits, Guinea pigs, and tortoises. Children can really flourish from caring from the animals, it can build their self confidence, teaches them empathy, it gives the children a connection to nature and teaches the children life lessons.
I also attend local toddler groups, children centres, go to parks, museums, meet up with other childminders, and much more.
My Experience
I have been a nanny for 10 years and previously worked in nursery settings for 2 years, where I got my NVQ2&3 in Childcare, learning and development.

NVQ 2&3 in Childcare, Learning and Development
Paediatric First Aid.
Safeguarding Children
Lead Safeguarder Training.
