About Me
Hi! I'm Vikki and I have recently moved to Bishops Lydeard with my husband Steve and two children Jake (17) and Ellie (15). Lexie, our cockapoo, joined us in August 2019.
Offering a home from home environment ensures for a safe, stimulating and loving environment, in which independence and a willingness to 'have a go' is encouraged and applauded. I firmly believe that children learn most, and best, through first hand experience, rich communication and play. I offer a wide range of opportunities to support children in their personal development. And I love watching childrens' interests and minds expand and grow.

My Experience
Having spent 16 years as a primary school teacher I do value children as individuals; embracing a child centered approach to planning, learning and development.
I have been working as a registered childminder since 2012 and genuinely enjoy spending time, practicing skills and sharing countless experiences with the children who attend my setting, both indoors and out.
Finally, in helping to raise my stepchildren, I can appreciate the need for fairness, consistency and honest communication when being entrusted with someone else's child.
My Qualifications
B.A.Hons with Qualified Teacher Status
Certificated Ofsted registered childminder as November 19th 2012.
My Availability
I am available from 7:45 am to 5:15pm Tuesday through to Friday, offering places to EYFS children.
