About Me
I have worked as an Ofsted registered childminder for 30 years and I was graded 'outstanding' in my last 4 Ofsted inspections. I offer childcare for children aged from 3 months to 16 years.
I work with my partner Nigel who is also an Ofsted registered childminder. He is a fully qualified chef and cooks lovely meals for the children. Nige was recently graded 'outstanding' for a second time by Ofsted. He has been presented with a Golden Apple Healthy Eating award from Cheshire East for his menus and food provision.
Children have access to the whole downstairs of our home, including a conservatory and playroom filled with good quality resources and equipment, which lead into a large, safe, child friendly garden. We have a large covered area outside as well which we use through the year.
We have a small family dog who is a recent addition to our childminding family.
In addition to full and part-time daycare, we also offer an after-school collection service from Manor Park school and nursery.
My Experience
I am an ex educational audiologist who believes she has found her niche in life as an Ofsted registered childminder.
I am also freelance early years writer and a qualified trainer and early years consultant and in my free time I write for, mentor and support other childminders.
My Qualifications
I graduated from Manchester University in 1986 with a BA in Audiology and Education.
I have updated my skills and knowledge with an Open University Foundation Degree (Level 4) and an NVQ in Early Years, Childcare and Education (Level 3).
I regularly attend courses and take other types of training to ensure my I am always up-to-date.

I have two children currently FT with Sarah and Nigel and I truly couldn't imagine a better setting for my children
I would recommend this setting for the personal child-centred professional approach to helping my children grow and learn whist supporting parents in their working arrangements, I happily leave my children each day knowing they are welcomed, loved and encouraged to make the most of the day. Food on offer is always a hit and we are kept fully informed of our children's day through daily diaries and learning journey.
Sarah and Nigel are OFSTED registered Outstanding and have a fantastic reputation in Knutsford and beyond.
