About Me
My name is Stephanie and I provide professional childcare in a warm and happy home environment where every child is valued. I provide a drop off and pick up service for Fleet Infant and Velmead Schools. I live at the bottom of Pondtail and am ten minutes walk from the schools.
I live with my husband and three children: two daughters aged 12 years and 3 years
and a son aged 9 years.
My childcare setting is friendly and inviting for children. We have a good sized, enclosed, flat garden with a wooden Wendy house, slides and a varied selection of outdoor toys. Inside there is a year round conservatory playroom and separate dining room. The children have access to a variety of craft activities and a wide selection of board games. We don't watch TV programmes and there isn't a play station this is because I believe children need and want a relaxing, playful environment after school where they can make friends, explore the toys and activities available.
We all sit together for meals at the table where chat and good table manners are encouraged. I can provide breakfast before school drop off and I provide an after school fruit snack and home cooked evening meal.
My Experience
I am graded Outstanding by Ofsted since January 2017. I have 8 years experience as a registered childminder and am a fully qualified primary school teacher.

PGCE in Primary Education from Oxford University

My Availability
I offer a drop off and pick up service for Fleet Infant and Velmead schools term time only with some school holiday care on request. Please contact me for my current availability.

Stephanie provided childminding for both my son and my daughter for many years and I couldn't be happier with the care they received. I was always confident that they were safe, happy and very well looked after.
Stephanie's previous career as a primary school teacher ensures she is extremely aware of the needs of the different children in her care, and she has a large number of indoor and outdoor activities available to suit the different ages and interests. My children felt welcome at Stephanie's right from the beginning, and it was a real home from home for them. Absolutely outstanding care, I couldn't recommend her highly enough!
