My name is Linda.
I am a good Ofsted provider. I have recently had an inspection, and got good in all areas. I have been a childminder for over 32 years with outstanding references from parents, ofsted registered and paediatric first aid. I have a playroom with a garden and plenty of learning resources.
My Experience
I have looked after children from all age groups, birth to 13 years old.
My Qualifications
I have level 3 in childcare as well as basic food hygiene and first aid, child protection, long service award for childcare.
My Availability
I have a full-time place available at the moment and a part-time place. I do 15 and 30 hours free funding.

My 6 year old has been going to Linda for around 2 years now and she absolutely loves it! She always comes home telling me about all the other children she has played with. Linda is amazing with the children she is so kind hearted and really gets to know each child individually, currently on maternity but will be back in February with another little one for her too look after. I wouldn't trust anyone else, love the homely environment she provides.
Couldn't recommend her enough!

Linda was really wonderful with my kids. She always had a fun day planned for them. Took them out for some sun, had them do painting, clay works and lots of crafts. My kids were absolutely happy with her and so was I

Myself and husband have been sending our boys for the past 6 years and have had great experience throughout. It is now time for our youngest to start pre school and Linda will be hugely missed. Linda is great with the children, always taking them to parks/soft plays and different play groups. Excellent childminder. Thank you so much for your years of service.

Thank you for your lovely review, it's been a pleasure to look after your boys and been very nice talking to you and your husband.
We’ve been with Linda for a short while but already within 6 months our daughter (2.5 years old has come along in leaps and bounds, every day we get all of the crafts they’ve been up to, EF can also count to 12 and understand quantity to 5, she’s knows her colours, alphabet and sings her days and brings back her dancing and movements from playing with the other kids. Linda encourages the kids with playing together and brings them out to bigger playgroups to meet other kids. It’s so comforting to know that Linda treats every child as her own. She has been very helpful with listening to my requirements for EF, as she wasn’t finished with her naps Linda helped accommodate this and more recently helping with her potty training. She is thoughtful, kind and not ridged on drop off and pick up times (have experience stricter minders), she also helped with wonderful conversations and advice on EFs learnings at pick up and drop offs. Highly recommend sending your little ones to Linda!

Thank you for your very kind words. your daughter has been a pleasure to look after and see her excel in her learning, it's been a pleasure having parents that work alongside giving your daughter the best.
Linda’s had our little boy for nearly 3 years now, and he has had such a lovely experience! Linda really knows the children she looks after and she has supported with speech, reading, colours and so much more. Our child loves it there and is always so excited to be there since they do so many different activities in such a caring setting. She really takes the time to have conversations about progress, what is going well and the areas where more support would be helpful. We are moving away from the area but are so sad to be leaving and will definitely be staying in touch!

Linda has been so kind and wonderful with our daughter. Ava was only 10 months old when she started with Linda and I was really nervous about starting childcare but Linda’s kind and caring approach put my mind at rest. Linda provides a warm and loving family home for children and treats them all as though they are her own. Ava has been so happy with Linda and it has allowed me to start back at work knowing that Ava is well taken care of. Linda gives the children a mix of playgroups and fun activities at home so I know that Ava is still getting the social aspect she’d get from a bigger nursery whilst also having the family setting of a childminder. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us Linda!

Linda looked after my daughter for 3 months following our previous childminding closing at short notice. Linda was welcoming and my daughter settled quickly. In the three months she was with Linda she grew in confidence and made clear progress with her colours, numbers and letters. She was always happy to go to Linda’s and made lots of friends.

Both of my little boys have been going to Linda since they were 8 months old (eldest now 5 years and youngest 2 years) and we have had excellent service from her throughout. The children always come home happy, having been to playgroups, parks, time in the garden, for nice walks out and plenty of learning and crafts whilst in her setting. Really recommend her services. Thank you very much.

Linda has looked after my son for almost 2 years, Linda is so lovely with the children and my son always has a fantastic time with her, it was nice to see him coming out with a big smile on his face everytime! She does take them to lots of lovely places, including play groups. My son loves Football and Monster trucks, Linda went out and purchased these for her setting for my son to incorporate in his learning. I have seen my son grow into an independent and confident young boy, with the support of Linda. I would highly recommend Linda to anyone looking for a childminder. It's lovely to be able to go to work with the knowledge that you are leaving your children in a safe environment with someone who has a heart of gold.

Linda has been a massive part of my daughters life from 8 months old, she is now 5 years and throughout this time my daughter has developed a wonderful relationship with Linda.
For the last 5 years Linda cared and helped my daughter develop in a lovely setting, we are so thankful we found a childminder like Linda. We are now only moving on as we no longer require childcare but could not recommend Linda enough to anyone else looking for a safe, family like setting.
