About Me
Hi my name i Sam Kirton, I am an OFSTED registered childminder and was graded OUTSTANDING in October 2014. I work in Marske with my husband who is my registered assistant. We are open Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:30pm and provide quality child care on a full time or part time basis including school pick ups and drop offs to St Bedes, Westgarth and Errington schools. Places are offered all year round, term time only or holiday time only.
We provide a full and active itinerary for children aged 6 months to 14 years. This includes visits to playgroups, the park, woods, beach and other local attractions as well as providing a happy and friendly home environment.
At home we have a large range of toys and activities including arts and crafts, building, cars, dolls, home corner, educational games, books, jigsaws and computers all set out in our lovely playroom.
We also have a big family kitchen diner where the children can a enjoy a range of healthy snacks and home cooked meals. This then leads onto our large secure garden again with a huge choice of toys and playhouse.

We offer free childcare for 2 year olds and will be offering the free 30 hours childcare in September in partnership with the local schools.
My Experience
I am NNEB qualified and have worked in a day nursery, as a nanny and in schools before starting a career in teaching and assessing childcare. I then took a career break to have my own children before training and registering as a childminder in 2008. I hold all the relevant qualifications and insurances as a childminder such as food hygiene, paediatric first aid, child protection and child care home practitioner and attend regular personal development training. My last OFSTED report graded me as outstanding.
