About Me
My name is Helen De Ville I have been an Ofsted registered Childminder since 2009 (rated good in all areas) I had my latest OFSTED report January 2018 and maintained my good grading . I live in a victorian semi-detached house with a lovely large enclosed garden , we now work from our purpose built cabin in the garden situated in the village of Hatton it is within easy access of the A50 and A38 . I live with my husband Steven and have three girls 35,25,18
And a Grand daughter 8 Years old
My aim is to provide a fun , caring, safe and stimulating home from home environment for your child/children.

I have 30 years of experience taking care of children, first as a mum and have worked in various childcare settings as a nursery nurse and manager.
My Qualifications
Level 3 BTech National Diploma in Early Years.
Paediatric First Aid.
Safeguarding Children /Young People.
Medication Training.
Level 2 in Food Safety.
My Availability
My working Hours are Mon - Fri 8.00am till 6.00 pm .

Great setting and our youngest son William really enjoyed his time here.
Always went with a smile on his face and we felt he was really safe and looked after!
Nice garden and high spec outbuilding which William loved!

Our son has been with Helen and co for the last 8 months. He was born just before lockdown so had not had much interaction with other people when he started. However within 1 week, every morning he would be at the front door ready to go to Helen’s place. Helen and her team are amazing and we would recommend them to any parent for their childcare needs. The garden is a great place for the children to enjoy the sun and the garden room is perfect for the kids to enjoy their time.

My little one has been going to Helen's setting since last September when he was only 8 months old. We are very happy with the choice we made to send him to Helen's and we wouldn't send him anywhere else. She really is like our second family (for both our child and us!) and she provides a real home-from-home experience. My little one is happy to attend each day and loves Helen so much! He has a massive smile on his face every time he sees her. Helen always provides fun experiences for the children in her care. She takes them on regular outings, makes crafts with them and provides the children with a variety of learning activities, which she communicates to us. Her purpose-built cabin is clean, safe and secure and has lots of toys and books for the children to play with. She also has a lovely, big garden which they regularly make use of. I know that my child is in excellent hands while in her care. I highly recommend.

Our 2 year old has been going to Helen’s since January and even though she is only there 1 day a week she settled in very quickly! Helen’s childcare is just what we were looking for, a home away from home, but also a place to learn and make new friends! Thank you Helen!

Were always happy with helen and the services she provided and she is always sending us pictures of the fun and eventful things our little one is up to. I feel so lucky to have got our little one in with helen and always look forward to hearing what she has been up to.

My daughter Ada has been going to Helen for nearly a year, and she's loved every minute of it! I met Helen a few weeks prior to going back to work after maternity leave, when Ada was 8 months old, and she instantly made Ada and I feel comfortable in her home, and her qualifications and portfolio made me confidant that Ada would be in good hands. We did a few trial sessions over the next few weeks and Ada settled in really well.
Helen regularly takes the children in her care out, and does educational and crafty activities at home and out and about, she puts a lot of thought into their day. Ada is always sent home with some marvelous creation which she has clearly enjoyed making!
Helen's whole family are really warm and welcoming and have made us feel like extended family members. There's a lovely atmosphere in their home and I'm pleased that Ada is part of it.
My husband and I really didn't know which would work best of us and our daughter, a childminder or nursery, but our experience with Helen and assured us we made the right decision that a childminder was the way to go. I can't recommend Helen highly enough!

Dottie has been to Helen for well over a year and I couldn't wish for a better person to care for her. Helen provides a warm and secure home from home environment filled with fun and giggles. Dottie comes home with so many different stories about her day. Fabulous meals, action packed days out and so much learning! I have been so reassured leaving Dottie in her care, knowing that Helen loves her almost as much as me! ?? I highly recommend for childcare.

My son started at Helens 2 days a week, he settled really quickly and his confidence grew, we were so happy he now attends 4 days per week. Helen plans lovely outings and he's always really happy to tell me about his day, and the other children he's been playing with. My older school age son has been to Helens in school holidays and loved going!
I'm always kept up to date on my sons progress and any advice I need she's always there to help! :-)

My daughter has been going to Helen 2 days a week for about 6 months now, and I really can't recommend her enough. For me is he provides a perfect balance if one to one childcare, whilst still giving my daughter plenty if opportunity to interact and play with children of similar ages. Eva loves spending time there and settled into her routine with Helen pretty much instantly. The care she receives day to day is second to none and with the effort Helen puts into planning their days I always know they'll be off doing something fun and exciting. Finding Helen has made my transition back to work after maternity leave so much easier and for that I can't thank her enough.

Helen was fantastic with our son, he went to her from being 14 months until starting pre school. She offers a very caring and homely atmosphere and puts you at ease with her professionalism straight away.
It was very nice to see our son looking forward to going to hers and reassuring to us that he was enjoying himself.
We are that impressed with Helen that our daughter will shortly be going there when I return to work from my maternity leave
I will highly recommend Helen for childcare
