I am a mother of 2 adult children and a nana to 2 grandsons. I live in South Farnham with my Cocker Spanial.
'Ann Bowyer Childcare' provides a safe, friendly home from home environment for your children to learn through play, explore the local area, and become inquisitive about the world around them.
We love going out to Alice Holt/Frensham Ponds/Bourne Woods/ Parks as well as local community visits, such as the library. I am continually trying to improve experiences for the children by incorporating outdoor learning, early Forest School experiences, and gardening.
I have a vast amount of resources for all ages and I have a lovely garden which has loads of exciting things to do in it, like their own veggie patch, herb garden and flower garden, ride-ons, playhouse, Nature kitchen and more.
My Experience

I have recently (April 2025) came back to full time childminding after working term time at a local Secondary SEND school. where I set up and ran a Forest school club and childminding during school holidays.
I am an Ofsted registered Childminder. I have experience with minding children from 6 weeks to 12 yrs old and with children who have allergies and SEN.
I am a level 3 Forest School Leader, I was a co-leader of a forest school toddler group.
I am in the process of starting a forest school club for childminded children, hopefully by the end of 2025.
My Qualifications
UPDATE - 21/2/2025
BA in Early Years Childcare and Education, Level 3 Forest School Leader, NVQ3 in Childcare and Education, Paediatric 1st aid, Food and Hygiene, Health and Safety, Safeguarding Children, Ecat (language development in the early years), various SEN courses, plus Lots of other Courses/workshops and conference attendance.
My Availability

Ann has looked after both our daughters from an early age until then went to pre school/ school. They still return in the holidays. It is a wonderful, nurturing, creative environment. Full of fun and exploration. They have spend many hours in the woods exploring, climbing and learning. With regular fun days out to Bird World, the garden centre, Frensham Ponds and lots more. Tilly the dog has been an added bonus. The girls love playing in the garden and having walks in the woods with Tilly, Ann and the other children. The girls have learnt, thrived and enjoyed all the time they have spent in Ann’s care. We highly recommend Ann.

There aren’t enough words to describe how fabulous Ann is.
Her and her gorgeous pup, Tilly, immediately connected with my son. Despite covid and there being a very different settling in experience, it was smooth from the start.
They venture out every day, exploring Bourne Woods, Frensham Ponds and lots of exciting places. Raphy frequently returned with crafts he’d made with what he’d found or pockets full of pine cones. Even when the weather is bad, they either go out or stay close in the large garden. I’ve loved having Raphy there until he started school, and now we return for the holidays. Everything about Raphy’s development was a breeze with Ann guiding and supporting us, from weaning to potty training. I’d recommend Ann to anyone!
