About Me
I am an Ofsted registered child minder working with my sister who is also an Ofsted registered childminder along with one assistant
we are a family run childcare setting
We live in the Oakwood area, very close to Grange Park school, located opposite a children's playground which we visit regularly and the children love. Working with 2 others means we are quite flexible and try to accommodate parents as best we can.
We provide well balanced meals and snacks throughout the day and the same for children we collect from school.
We create rest space for the children and a fun learning environment.
We run a very organised and well planned setting. We communicate well in order to provide the best care for the children in our setting.
We are caring, compassionate and understanding. Safeguarding our children is important to us.
We keep on top of training so that we’re always up to date.
We have regular communication with parents so they are informed of the days activities and we let them know how their children are doing

I have two adult children and plenty of experience caring for children.
I have been a childcare provider for over 14 years.
Children and parents are always made to feel comfortable in our home.

Childcare level 3 childminding certificate
Paediatric 1st Aid Certificate- (all 3 of us have )
Food safety course
Child Protection and Data protection courses
We speak Greek fluently

Maria looked after our son from just over one years old until he was 5. Although he has now left he still has many happy memories of his time with Maria and family. They provided a warm stimulating environment that my son was always happy to go to. He loved the cuddles, the toys and games, trips to the park and most definitely the food!! Maria and family are nurturing and patient but also really mindful of learning opportunities and he took part in lots of fun activities both inside their home and out and about and they always kept us well informed on his overall progress and the details of his day. We all really miss our time with Maria but we remain forever grateful for all the support and care she provided our son with over the years.

We had our daughter with Maria for four weeks in between leaving our previous childcare and her starting her new nursery. Maria and her team are caring, provide lovely meals and make sure your child is comfortable in their setting. Our little girl settled in quickly and we only wish we found Maria earlier! We are very thankful for Maria for taking us on at such short notice and giving Olivia a lovely experience.
