i am a mum of 6 children aged 35,31,29,25,22,19 I have 7 grandchildren.

I am an Ofsted registered childminder, my most recent inspection which was April 2016 was graded as Otstanding. I am the secretary for N C A ( newcastle childminders association ), and a commitee member for NAPI ( newcastle association for parent and toddler groups ). I have been a childminder for 19 years and have a lot of experience with children, I offer a home from home nurturing environment for children to flourish in
i have references from many past and present parents, I follow child based learning plans, I have a vast range of toys and equipment for the children to discover and a large secure garden for essential outdoor play.

My Availability
my places do vary according to the time of the year
i have 1full time place available now and because of the new September school starters will have various places from July
I can provide the 2 year old offer and the 3 & 4 year old free 15 and 30 hours offer.
I have experience of working with children with autism and adhd.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
i charge £4 .50per child per hour
this includes myself supplying snacks ie: toast, fruit, water , milk, biscs ect
meals and sundries to be provided by parents

I found Karen after a bad nursery experience. I was nervous about trying a childminder but as soon as I met Karen my reservations eased and what's more, my daughter's reaction to Karen made any worries disappear. She provides a safe, secure environment. She is reliable and flexible and has helped me out whenever she can which I always appreciate. My daughter is always happy to go to Karen's and talks fondly off her and her family. I intend to continue using Karen's services throughout my daughter's primary school years. I count myself lucky to have found her.

karen has been my childminder for many years she's amazing with my children one has special needs and she has been there for him from being a baby and help loads if you want someone who will care and treat you children like there own Karen is the right person for you
