About Me
Our childminding setting is situated in Abbeywood, 5mins walk from the Abbeywood station and the Sainsburys supermarket. We are also 2mins walk from Boxgrove primary school and Mulberry children centre. Depending on where you are coming from these are the buses that runs in the area, 469, 177, 229, 180, 244 and B11.
We run a very lovely and friendly flexible services that accomodate ideas from parents thereby, working in partnership to provide the appropriate care needed for their child/ren's care. We also run an after school services where we drop and pick children from local schools like Boxgrove primary, De-lucy, Parkway, Bannockburn primary, Alexander McLeod, Thomas a Becket primary and Abbeywood nursery.
I am a qualified early year practitioner, trainned child-minder, and has operated since 2008, along side assistants . I have appropriate qualification ranging from nvq 3, 4, level 5 in children care learning and development, first aid, safeguarding children to a BA Hon.in Early Years. I have also worked as a nursery manager between 2016 amd 2017 where I managed the daily running of the daycare. I also mentor newly registered childminders. All my staffs work together in a relaxed atmosphere to provide a safe, secure and stimulating play environment for all children to learn at their own pace without pressure.

£95 per day 3month-2yrs
£85 per day under 2-3yrs
part time -£40 per day
£35 for school children daily (breakfast, drop at school, pick from school, evening snacks, guided reading, after school group work/activities till 6pm).
£30 daily pick from school and straight drop at child's home locally

My son had been going to Rising Stars since he was 2, he fitted in the setting immediately and absolutely loves it there as do we. She treats the children as one of the family and because of this all the children take care of each other and build little relationships, which is great.
My son clearly misses the setting on the days he's not in and can be heard singing their songs and saying the names of the other kids.
She's more than just a childminder, she is someone with whom you can put all your trust to look after your child when you can't. She keeps us informed about the child's day to the latter. Great personality and very understanding.
Veronica is a fantastic childminder, knowing my child is well looked after makes my life easier. She is down to earth, caring, not afraid to get her hands dirty! She provides healthy food options and always has healthy snacks to hand! I would highly recommend Rising Stars because the children have fun in an inclusive learning environment.
