About Me
Hello!
My name is Karen and I live in Rise Park,in a large house with a secure gated garden.
I offer a warm, friendly, safe environment where I will look after your children as if they are my own, with lots of outings, playtime, messy play, crafts, dress up and other fun activities!
I have a lovely playroom in my home, with lots of toys, books, cars, dolls and play kitchen to name just a few of the items in there.
We go on lots of outings which include Wheelgate theme park, Wollaton Park, Sherwood Pines and Clumber Park,I also take the children on exciting adventures to the zoo and the space museum.
I attend two playgroups per week, and one trip to soft play.
I use WhatsApp to send photos and videos of the children throughout the day to their Parents.
I work closely with parents to ensure their child is happy,safe,secure and progressing well in my care.

My Experience
I have been working as a Childminder for 12years now and I can honestly say it's the best job I've ever done!
I take great pride in providing the best childcare experience I can, for the children and parents.
I’ve very recently had an Ofsted inspection, for which I received a “good” rating.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I have completed all the training required to become a registered childminder, which incorporates Safeguarding Children and delivering the EYFS.
I have completed a Paediatric First Aid Course.
I have also obtained level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering.
I am rated as Good by Ofsted.

We were so grateful to have found Karen. She is a lovely and warm lady. She took care of my son as her own child. My son even called her as "Karen mommy". He feel loved and had a wonderful childhood when he was with Karen. He is Reception now but still asking to come back to Karen's class.

Must have my say about Karen, Karen is the kindest person I have meet in a long time she is a warm loving person who I would not hesitate to recommend as a childminder. Daisy always has fun and lots of laugh's with Karen but also with Scarlett who takes after her mum as a great girl and fun to be round. I feel great ease when I drop daisy off that she is safe and will have a good day which involves walks, park outing's, fun, laughter. And nothing is to much trouble for Karen. Karen's house is the ideal enviroment for children with lots of space and toys and a lovely outdoor garden What can i say apart from BRILLIANT!!!!!

I thought I'd add a quick review of Karen's childminding service as I've been so happy with finding her and the efforts she goes to to ensure my kids have a great time! She has a great house with a lovely nursery/play room and a nice garden area with a small vegetable patch, which is wonderful for the kids to play and learn in.
She is a lovely person and I always feel happy leaving my little ones with her as I know they're going to be taken care of and they always have such fun. My youngest is very shy, since going to Karens I feel she building her confidence everyday. I think she's a natural and when I see her with children she really treats them as if they're her own. Karens little girl Scarlett likes getting involved with all of the children and is a little sweetheart.
I can highly recommend Karen so I'm confident giving her 5 out of 5 for her services.

Karen has looked after my daughter numerous times. Georgina is always happy to go to Karen,s house, she has lots of toys to play with and always entertains her. Karen's house is a great environment for children all open plan very clean and lots of room to play indoors and outdoors. Karen treats Georgina as if she were her own daughter and Scarlett (Karen's daughter) is such a gem, she is lovely. I fully trust Karen to look after Georgina and have no hesitation is recommending her to anyone looking for childcare.
