About Me
My name is Grace, and I run Sweetpeas childminding. I live near Aylsham with my husband and 3 boys, in a rural location with access to woodland and parkland, we have a large garden with plenty of space for children to play and explore aswell as plenty of outdoor activities. We run Sweetpeas childminding mostly from our custom built cabin playroom to enable us to offer a more outdoor based learning environment.
I have run Sweetpeas childminding since 2019. Prior to setting up sweetpeas childminding I worked as a nanny and at an outdoor pre-school. I like to bring my experience from there into my childminding work with lots of outdoor learning. I enjoy being outdoors, creating art work with the children, cooking and many other activities. I like to encourage all the children I care for to eat healthy be active and engage in lots of activities and conversation.
I have 4 assistants who work with me across the week.
We follow a number of different educational systems including montessori, forest school and fröbel in order to provide a well balanced and enriching approach to the EYFS.

My Experience
Sweetpeas has grown over the years originally starting out as wrap around for over 8s to what it is now. With a team of dedicated adults working together each day to support the children's learning and development.
I worked at an outdoor Pre-School most recently. Before having my own children I worked as a private nanny for a number of different families over a period of 5 years. I have completed my level 3 early years educator along with other CPD courses coving a range of topics. All staff hold a full paediatric first aid course, safeguarding and are DBS checked.
My Qualifications
Most recently studied for my level 3 Early Years Educator, working with children birth to 7 years.
I completed a two year Btec level 3 Health and Social care course, this included a large amount of child care.
I have completed my pediatric first aid, Safeguarding, food hygiene course and a variety of CPD covering a wide variety of areas.
My Availability
7:30am-6pm 5 days a week. 9 months - 12 years

- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Term time and regular sessions changed at £5-£6ph. All funding, tax free childcare and vouchers accepted.
Holiday only fees

8:30-5:30 £60 ( includes dinner.)

We were so lucky to find such a highly qualified, kind and patient person to look after our two. Both Teddy (7) and Francesca (5) had a great first day being looked after by Grace and playing with her boys. We look forward to more such days in the future!

Grace has been working for us now for 7 months with the sole care of my 2 children, currently 3 years and 5 years. She is very reliable and caring and the children are very happy with her.She encourages healthy eating with my 3 year old fussy eater. She has arranged fun days out and takes the children to organised activities, particulary she is good with crafts.
Grace is always happy if I need to ask her to stay a bit longer or change hours slightly which is very reassuring as mine and my husbands job can be a little unpredictable.
All in all I am very happy with the work grace does for us and would recommend her highly.
My youngest one looks forward to see her all the time,and he misses her a lot.He is always happy to see her and speaks very fondly of her.
What I really like about her is she has great initiativeness, and reliable
